The Cheeky Sparrow Dorrigo

WOW the service & food was absolutely amazing. The lady who served us was a delight & our take away order took no time at all. The food was delicious & the kids loved the nuggets & sweet potato chips. Highly recommend & will be back soon.

On the 30th of Dec 2023 I enjoy my regular Chicken Fettuccine. Yes I had an ice cream too. The flavours were boysenberries and caramel. Yum !!!I I recently enjoyed a lovely burger with sweet potato chips a few weeks ago. Delicious Food. Wonderful Customer Service. The Fettuccine is a great dish. I recently enjoyed a vegetable Pattie Burger containing lettuce, tomatoes, and grated carrot with a sauce. Their ice cream and Milkshakes are amazing. Please Visit. Highly Recommended ☆☆☆☆☆

I was excited to try this little country town cafe after reading previous Google reviews other people had made and I'm so glad we dropped in. The food was exceptionally delicious (especially the sweet potato fries cooked to perfection) and the service and hospitality was typically 'country style' warm, friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth going!!!!! Thank you The Cheeky Sparrow.

I had the best coffee of my life here. Then walked to Dangar Falls, and then on our return trip stopped in again and had a repeat of the best coffee of my life. Great food, great atmosphere, great people. Well done ❤

What a delight to find a delicious house of pastry when travelling. If you ever find yourself in Dorrigo, do yourself a favour and pop by. From focaccias to danishes, everything was delicious. Service was charming- it’s clearly a passion project.

Ordered a beast feed. Entree works burger with a new Zealand cut paddy and main course a supreme pizza with such variety and flavour. One of the best restaurants in Dorrigo. If not the best by far

Wonderful friendly staff and delicious food.
Whilst visiting my elderly parents (who have recently moved to Dorrigo), we chose this place at random to take them for brunch. It was an excellent choice. Lady serving was very friendly and helpful, and the chef too was friendly with a great sense of humor. Everyone enjoyed their food so much, we ordered takeaway from here the next day for lunch.
The pizza bases are the best I've ever had!
I just wish they would have warned me how generous the serving size of the chips is!!

We stumbled upon the cheeky sparrow whilst travelling through Dorrigo we couldn't decide from the many delicious offerings, the friendly staff member recommended the house made currys we decided on the butter chicken and vindaloo!! What a choice every morsel was delicious by far the best curry we have ever had accompanied by pappadum and naan just wow 😲 highly recommend perfect way to spend a dreary winters afternoon 10/10

Stopped in after a long hike and couldn't have been happier that we did! The staff were all lovely, and the food was delicious! Best decision getting some takeaway cookies as well, they were a great treat. Highly recommend to anyone in the area

Went there for dinner two nights in a row - the (vegetarian) curry tastes really homemade; the chips are proper chips and decent portions and the fish burger as well as the battered hoki were yummy.

We chose this cafe at random whilst passing through dorrigo, far exceeded our expectations for a small country town. Our burgers were fast, the ingredients were fresh with generous portions, would definitely reccomend to anyone who's after a high quality takeaway meal.

We recently stopped in Dorrigo for a late lunch. So glad we stopped at The Cheeky Sparrow. We were met by Rodney the local rooster at the entrance. The Cafe is great and the owner was so friendly. We ordered hamburger and BLT. The fries were amazing. Coffee really good too. Well priced. Definitely recommend.

The beef vandaloo curry was very, very tasty! Yumi, yumi!!
