Bit of an obscure stop by the side of the freeway, but I was very excited to realise this was the beginning of the Solar System Drive up to Siding Springs (Pluto). Definitely a place to stretch the legs if you're heading to the Observatory! Note no facilities here unfortunately.

It is a travellers delight, especially with children mapping and spotting these along the way. Lots of good old fashioned fun. I rate this highly!

Nice little stop and great view but needs a loo, built on a hill known locally as Black Bull Hill.

There is no indication on a 100km road to stop and look at it. All planets are like that. Missed many.
If you want to stop at each location then it is better to make a direction plan on maps to drive.
