Copper City Hotel

I stayed here on a trip through and can not fault this place. My room was clean, my bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the price was affordable. The food from the bar is delicious and it’s a good atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here

Rooms a bit dated but everything worked and was colour coordinated, The shower was hot and had plenty of pressure, The owner's were awesome. Food was next level! Absolutely delicious. Well worth the stop!

Not sure why so many negative reviews in the past week. My room is clean, a bit dated. Staff are extremely friendly and courteous. I've just enjoyed a beautiful meal of pork ribs. Sitting back with a couple of cold beers in a welcoming atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Food: Had the scotch fillet, cooked to perfection, fresh, great flavour, very enjoyable.

Accommodation: Very reasonable price. A little dated on the inside but clean rooms and comfy beds.

Overall great experience.

We drove all day so needed a comfy bed for good rest. To our surprise they upgraded our booked room to a better one. We are really grateful for that. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The location was nice also, near to one of the few lookouts.

Stayed for two nights the room I had for the first night was in bad shape from wear and tear needs attention urgently but it was very clean
Second night was placed in a different room due to some power issues big improvement again very clean
The managers made my stay so comfortable can’t complement them enough

Stayed here on my way home from Rockhampton was a great place to stay very friendly room was great and food amazing owner went of of his way to accommodate my needs and was very helpful once I arrived late and very tired will defiantly be staying here again

Pulled in there last night very late, the owners were very very accommodating supplied us with bread condiments and milk,both owners were very nice

Amazing staff is very hospitable. Louis went above and beyond helping me. Rooms are very tidy, and the aircons are cold. Will definitely stay here on my way through again.

This is second time we stayed here. This time they had a bar and Resturaunt. Which were great and exceeded my expectations. We used the pool agin was good. Motel room is clean and adequate. Dated but so is price. Rate was very cheap compared to other places we stayed. Manager and staff were exceptional. Will always use this as my place in Cobar

Cozy little motel with good rooms and great air conditioning! Got the budget double bed room, number 24, and it had a mini bar fridge (with water and milk!), kettle, two glasses, wine glasses and mugs, and stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and stirring sticks. Clean bathroom (with toilet and shower of course) and clean linens. We checked in after hours and picked up the keys from the safe near reception. Every interaction with staff was lovely also!

I accidentally booked the wrong dates online with a non refundable room then rocked up late while the kitchen was closing. They re-booked my room adjusted the price, Cooked me a steak then serviced me a beer. Talk about service. Cold beers and good steak too 👌

Wanted to specially thank the owners for going out of their way to personally help me, highly recommend!

Cheap beer and the best pepperoni pizza I ever had.
Staff is very nice, and help me in any question that I have about the city.

Large clean room. Comfortable bed. Well back from road so little traffic noise. Trees around so seeing a good variety of birds. Easy walk to shops in main street. Grand museum and information office across road.

WOW !....what a great meal. I had bangers and mash....it came with loads of steamed veg around the mound of mash and snaggers. This is how food used to be in this country before greed took over. I also had the sticky date pudding - outstanding. Other restaurants could take a few pointers from this place. Exceptional value for money and served with a smile by happy staff.

Stopped over for the night here, and it was one of the best choices we made. After driving 10 hours we were glad to be greated by a friendly and welcoming receptionist! We got the delux room. It was clean and modern, and a very comfortable bed. We dined at the hotels restaurant that has just opened up, and wow. The food was home cooked and beautiful. I got the chicken snitzel which was fresh and homemade, and my partner got the lamb shanks and they were just falling off the bone. Over all I would highly recommend staying here on your stop over in Cobar.
