I had the best experience at this hospital the nurses and doctors etc were all very nice. The surgeon was very cheerful and all the other helpers were cheerful I was feeling a bit cold 🥶 and the nurse threw the heated blanket over me WOW it bad such a difference then after surgery was treated with one of those nice sandwiches and a cup of tea. Thank you to all the staff beautiful caring people. 🥰

Had my Colonoscopy yesterday 12/12/2022 and could not fault a thing. The care and compassion shown to me was amazing right through from entering the front door to theatre all staff members were very proffesional at all times. Keep up the good work.

My stay last year in Maryborough was excellent care. I presented as being quite ill & I was attended to immediately & ended up staying for 5 days. Only 1 nurse was a bit slack but that was sorted. The meals were excellent & made you feel like eating whereas most hospitals they’re not appetising at all.

Well if these guys can put up with me they can deal with anyone. There were people worse off than me but they still managed to put up with me and put me on a bed and fixed me love these nurses putting up with me and very nice to boot thank you 🙏

I had cause to deal with the Speech Therapist, Emily Robinson, who works through this hospital. She was excellent - knowledgeable, caring & professional. I'm very glad she's working here & our family have access to her skills.

Today (23 November) the surgical team removed BSC from my nose and upper lip. The pre and post surgery nurses and the surgical team were caring, friendly, empathetic and professional at all times. A big thank you to all from an appreciative patient.

This is the last place I would take a loved one. A few nurses are very good people and do a great job. Unfortunately others are manipulative and witnessed by management that do nothing. This place has caused great distress to our family.
I would never take anyone there until it has a complete management cleanup who in turn need to sack a number of staff. I feel sorry for the people of Marlborough having to settle for this.
This facility is an extremely shameful blight on an otherwise nice town.

I was taken to Maryborough hospital 2 weeks ago by ambulance as I had bleeding while pregnant with twins. The maryborough nurses gave me a urine test and told me there was nothing they could do. I had to ask them "is this a miscarriage" which they replied "yes" i then asked "have I lost both babies" they replied "yes you have" I was then told to be picked up after a 5 minute visit. I was feeling very depressed for days afterwards until I went to melton doctors where they did and ultrasound and told me there were 2 live babies with healthy heartbeats. This false information given to me by Maryborough, could have resulted in me miscarrying my twins due to the depression and stress. I have sent a email to this hospital with no response which is so unprofessional. I would never recommend anybody to this hospital.

The urgent care centre here is truly frightening. My wife presented at 8.00 am in the morning with a suspected broken wrist. No examination, just 2 Panadol for pain relief and left to sit in the waiting room for almost 6 hours. No cuppa, no refreshment of any sort offered and no care. Finally got an xray which confirmed a fracture and no treatment offered. Was not allowed to see a doctor as we are not locals and was consigned to a nurse practioner who contradicted the radiologist. The staff here just don't care, several times we were told we could go somewhere else if we like and if I hear the term "ah you're not a local one more time" I'm going to go nuts.
Radiologist said no breaks. Nurse practitioner said there's a chip. Later xray at a competent hospital in Melbourne showed 4 breaks.
Get your act together Maryborough, if you keep telling everyone to go to Ballarat you'll all be out of a job.

Emergency room very poor performance! Son had vomited blood and they were so busy having a chat they didnt even think to call the doctor on call for over 40 mins!!! Wasnt until we threatened to leave they did something. Disgusting service for so called 'emergency department' you are bloody well here to do a job not chat about your weekend.
