Tiny hut in an exposed location. Good if the weather changes & it's a bit late to push through to the next hiking camp site. Camping at Cope Hut is more sheltered.

There is no toilet at this spot. The road is closed to motor vehicles. Access here by walking only.

The camp spot is high up looking over the alps and is gorgeous for sunrise, and there is a pit toilet which is very convenient - make sure you bring toilet paper. This is a paid campsite (recent increase in cost this year), but the platforms for the tents do not have enough pegs to actually use, and is not good for small one person tents. We camped on the grass under some trees up slope from the platforms instead.
