It is a pole, it is made of wood. Located on the Australian Alps walking track it delineates the preferred over snow course for various trails. It is marked with a metal sign showing the number 333.

Pole 333 is located at an intersection and preceded by pole 334 and followed by poll 332 (also very fine polls) and is an ideal lunch location for those on day two of the Falls Creek - Mount Hotham Alpine Crossing. (In both directions)

This poll is multifunctional as it provides assistance in both the snow covered months and warmer months.
