Wellstead Museum & Cafe Bremer Bay

Lovely old fashioned service and atmosphere. Very interesing museum. Would need half a day at least to do it justice

Absolutely make sure you make a stop here if you're in Bremer Bay. Allow a Whole day haha. Or at least a good few hours to really take in all the old treasures of history. And then the food and coffee is excellent, we had lunch but the breakfast menu looks amazing too as does the woodfired pizza menu, which is available for Friday nights!
We will definitely be back when we are in Bremer next time.

Love a dog friendly venue, the food was amazing the the menu was so good it was hard to choose what to have. As a bonus the museum was fantastic, so much interesting memorabilia. Car and motorbike enthusiasts would find it interesting too.

Visited the area last week and was astounded by the food quality and taste provided by the cafe team. Staff were friendly and inviting and produce an amazing meal for my partner and I, so good we had to return 2 days later to try a different item on the menu and was yet again not disappointed. Seriously don’t believe that’s a bad item on the menu. Will be retuning in the future.

My family and I (being Wellsteads ourselves) were very curious to see what the museum would be like. It left us astounded, there is so much family history there as well as many other parts of history. We were also blessed to be able to stay in the old girls cottage. This is somewhere we plan to visit again and again and again.

This would be the best private museum I have ever seen. An Absolute credit to the Wellstead family for their collection. A must visit when you are in Bremer Bay.

This museum is a must see when visiting Bremer Bay. $10 adult entrance fee worth every cent. Food at cafe excellent. We spent 2.5 hours here. Could have spent more but was wet and windy.

The local abalone tacos are a must try! Tender abalone with lime zest sour cream topped with fried carrot. Also had very tasty pork belly ramen noodle soup.

An awesome experience, with a massive diverse collection compiled over generations.
A must see walk through time.
Hot tip, Friday night's for a mouthwatering woodfired pizza.

Excellent English Breakfast in Bremerbay. Everything was very Good. Food quality and and quantity was generous. I would say one of the best Breakfast South Western Australia Region.

This cafe is a little gem that has delicious food and excellent coffee.
You can meander amongst the Historic Homestead and check out machinery, tools and equipment used in times gone by then relax in the cosy cafe with an exceptional meal and drink.

Lovely interesting little place. Soooo much to look at! Food was fresh and well presented. I enjoyed a salad which was 5 star!

What an incredible museum and cafe in such out of the way place. Loved the history on display and how they tell an amazing story of resilence and perseverence.
The food was really delicious too. I had home-smoked salmon with my Eggs Benedict. Mmmmm!!!
They know how to make good coffee too.

Had never been before and always headed straight to the beach. Was recommended to stop for breakfast and very surprised! Had an amazing feed before continuing our journey. Will definitely be stopping through again next time I'm in town!

Fantastic..it was such a surprise. The museum was fabulous..so many vintage artefacts. Amazing old vintage cars, farm gear the list would go on & on. Definitely something to put on your list. The food is great too..a must..

Dan and staff are great. Food is always good. Something for everyone. The Museum Cafe is a must when visiting Bremer Bay. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Had a cafe nearby and got coffee while we visited the museum. Such a character, definitely very informative and also interesting with the vintage dolls and other relics.

Wellstead museum is a credit to Bremer Bay. Endlessly facinating historical artifacts, cars and buildings harking back to a harder agricultural existance in this area. The cafe here also made an azazing eggs benny with fab coffee. Definitely a must see when visiting the area.

Food was amazing. Didn't do the museum but the food was way better than I expected and when I am back in WA I will be back for that chicken burger again.
