My first visit of this area will not be the last. Beautiful full Macquarie River. Opposite n haggard windmill shining in the last bit of sunshine. Picnic tables as neat as can be. Safe parking. Wheelchair accessible. Safe for children however adults will have to watch near the river. Across the road agriculture land with Merino sheep grazing. Plenty photographic opportunities. Longford town nearby and well known for multiple World Heritage listed buildings and venues. A must see destination.

Between two world heritage listed farmstay properties, lots of character, lovely country place to stay. Good trout fishing in the region.
