That Restaurant on Gouger

The garlic sauce in stir-fried vegetable dishes is absolutely bomb!
Heard that the chef makes his own garlic sauce.
It was so good I ended up stuffing myself with those garlicky broccoli until I could not anymore.
Spicy chilli chicken was also yum.
I have also tried their mapo tofu, stir fried beef and bean jelly before and they were all great!

Third time having food from this place, once on uber eats and twice dining in. All 3 times really good. Amazing that it’s open late, food fresh and delicious and staff all so so nice. Tonight we had the beef black bean, cucumber salad & salt and pepper fish, all faultless. New favourite Chinese in town for sure :) thanks guys!!

Went there on dinner and atmosphere was very good. Food was also good we had chicken and mushroom pot, beef and carrot dumplings, jasmine tea and also the fried ice cream which i had for first time was great. Staff were helpful and attentive until we leave. Overall had a great time. Thank you and will come back again

I Had walked past here for the last couple of nights as i am staying nearby, but tonight i decided to give it a try. So glad i did. Had the slow cooked pork with tofu skin and the salt and pepper fish. Both were amazing, the fish was so light and crispy and the pork just melted in your mouth. Great friendly and helpful service too. I'll definitely be back!!

I guess this is a family owned restaurant and service was excellent. The food was amazing and portions and pricing is reasonable. We ordered chicken dumplings, Kung po chicken, stir fried noodles, fried rice and this amazing spicy King prawns and squid dish, yum!! worth a visit.

We came here to watch a friend's musical group and had dinner as well. This is a family owned restaurant and it shows as the service was excellent. The food was fantastic with generous serves and excellent pricing. They have a decent wine list too and even though it's not listed they have wines by the glass. It's down the far end of Gouger Street but worth a visit.

All dishes were amazing. Couldn’t decide what’s best as everything was spot on. Customer service was honestly the BEST. So welcoming and accommodating!

Good price and food is good. We had the beef noodles and chicken and prawn dumplings. Happy over all. Good portion and nice atmosphere. Service is really good too. I recommend 👍👍

I am glad I took the trip to try this place. Everything was beautiful and flavourful. I enjoyed every single bite and I am now complete. My personal favourite is the Garlic Pork Intestines, just succulently good and the gooey texture of the intestines just compliments the garlic and shallots. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back for more!

The food here is so authentic and delicious! My partner and I had the pork belly in green pepper sauce and dry hot pot. We have tried most of the hot pot places in Adelaide at this point and this was definitely one of the best. Also, it is good value for a massive serving. Lots of fun, yummy drinks to try and the staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. So amazing that they are open so late so I could finish a late shift and still go out for dinner afterwards at 11:30pm. I am so surprised and impressed by how cheery all the staff were considering how late it was. Great place, will definitely be back soon!

Awesome tasty food in authentic Szechuan chinese style dishes. Great service and ambience. The salt and pepper squid and mango pancake was the highlight. Will be back!

very delicious mala hotpot stirfry. loved the fried fish slices the most. only thing is that portions could be bigger as it is more pricey than other hotpot stirfy restaurants

As native Chinese, all I can say that the food there is absolutely fabulous, taste exactly like what I ate in Chengdu Sichuan

Went last night for Father’s Day. Service was great and the food was amazing. The Yam soup was so wholesome and healthy, great to rejuvenate after a big week. The prices super reasonable and servings were big!

A real hidden gem. Needed somewhere that could seat 20 at 10pm on a Sunday night and That restaurant were more than happy to oblige! Friendly staff, short waiting times and reasonably priced food. Not to mention a short but good wine list.
We now go every week!
