Rocks Ferry Reserve

Rocks Ferry Reserve, strange name but great park. Went to the park to do Parkrun. To really understand how great this park is you need to look at the topography. During the last major flood this whole park was washed away, because it sits on a corner of the Hastings River. Port Macquarie Hasting Council did an amazing job of rebuilding the corner, and making the park even better. Whilst at Parkrun I had a good look around. The park is especially beautiful at sunrise. If you are in Wauchope then drop down to the park with a coffee.

Nice place to go fishing ,walking or for a picnic plenty of space for kids to run around & play

Went kayaking in this lovely location, great river bank scenery . Will return again and again......🙂👍

Went to see Dragon Boat Regatta, reserve is nicely cared for. There was a large crowd on the beautiful day.

Great spot. Clean tidy & a great place to sit & relax or to go for a good easy walk

Went here for the dragon boat regatta, lovely reserve, well maintained, and had toilets.

Well maintained park with a boat ramp and a pontoon to tie up to also a fish cleaning table it is fairly related place were you can go for a walk along the foot path along the Hastings River or sit and relax and have a picnic with the kids or do some fishing

This is one spot to fulfill all you may require
Slippery slide that goes for almost a mile
Boat ramp and floating dock not to mention a bbq to top off the lot

March 2021 the reserve has been ripped appart by the recent floods. It'll be some time before it's open again. Much of the surrounds are recovering well

Took my Gypsy for a stroll by the river n had a chin wag with friends

Quite clean and has bbq grass walkway all by the river lovely picnic spot
