Meander Retreat

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend at Meander Retreat. We absolutely loved every minute, from the moment we walked in to the moment we said goodbye to our lovely host. The studio itself was immaculate, and not a stone was left unturned! From the pizza stone to the optional dog linen, and not to mention the delicious breakfast supplies including homemade bread and condiments. Evelyn was so friendly and helpful, and a delight to chat to. She made some wonderful recommendations, and knows the local area and its makers really well. The herb garden, and orchid were such a beautiful treat, and we enjoyed a fresh kale and tomato salad straight from the garden, and the most flavoursome apricots, plums, and mulberries, fresh from the trees. Pablo, our furry child, felt at home straight away and he and Evelyn became friends immediately. The location was perfect, amongst the tranquility of the countryside but close enough to local wineries, both boutique and larger wineries. We would return in a heartbeat and can recommend the stay to anyone!”

If you want to go away to somewhere remote (but not to far to get to) and feel your stress leave you, and feel like you just went to paradise - this is the retreat for you!

I love living in the city but it was SO LOVELY to fly to Hobart and do a 3 hour roadtrip (only 1 hour from Launceston) with my Tas friend to this retreat.

The people and scenery are what made this retreat ultra special. So kind and fun! But the schedule was also so amazing! We had afternoons off to swim in the creek and read - but most of the time we were either eating delicious food in the garden (from the garden!) or in a yoga or chanting workshop! Daily yoga nidra is the ultimate luxury. And as this was a NYE retreat it was really fun and special to get creative making vision boards!

I just got home and it all feels like an incredible dream, all surrounded by Tasmanian mountains.

Such a magical and special place.

I will absolutely be back and recommend to EVERYONE!

We recently stayed at Meander Retreat, Springton, in the beautiful Eden Valley - What a joy! Such a beautiful, relaxing place and central for so much in the Barossa region.
The accommodation was just divine - so comfortable and had everything you required. Evelyn met us on and was very accommodating and friendly - there was even a freshly baked loaf of bread on arrival!

We had two wonderful nights at Meander and wish we could have spent more time there. It was scrupulously clean and tastefully decorated and felt like we were in a boutique luxury hotel except it was just us staying.
The breakfast provided was delightful and there was delicious home made produce provided.
Meander is on the main road but you wouldn’t know it and we felt completely relaxed walking the garden and sitting drinking in the scenery and some local wine.
Meander is a place to stay and a destination in itself!

Absolutely beautiful place for a getaway in the Barossa! Very welcoming host who provides freshly baked bread upon arrival with all the breakfast supplies you could need. Beautiful window view and the room is wonderful. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway!

This place is fabulous by the time we walked in to the time we walked out we were looked after with fresh bread, jams honey for breakfast and the large bath is a must this place is awesome. 👍

Tranquil settings and great hospitality made our stay thoroughly enjoyable

An absolute surprise. A little gem tucked away and very peaceful. The studio was so comfy and clean with delicious Granola and fresh bread, homemade mulberry jam and honey from Evelyn's own hives for breakfast.

A cosy getaway. Nice touches were the fresh bread and milk, preserves and the offer of a dinner. The place was dog friendly with a seperate enclosed dog run. A nice place to relax.
