English's bridge campground

This is our close go to camp from Bendigo. We stayed 4 nights and went to the Bridgeward Olive Grove. We will be putting our OZLAPN YOUTUBE video up soon.

We loved this place with fresh flowing river water suitable for swimming & dogs are fine to drink the water. Must be fully self contained as there are no ammenties. Pick a spot away from the gum trees as they can fall & branches have broken off. Beautiful Victorian country life

Had a few nights here, March 2023. Absolutely lovely, peaceful spot. Some very big trees so be mindful where you set up. Not many other campers. Lovely quiet spot for swimming in the river near the bridge. Never got the kayak in a it was a tad windy, next time. Plenty of wood on the ground for a small cooking fire.
Shame about all the toilet paper along the water side, move away people, at least 100 paces, and do the right thing.

Great campsite by the Campaspe River. No amenities so must be self contained. Only a short drive to Elmore n Bendigo. Bird live amazing as is the scenery. Sheep country.

Great little spot to camp for a few days. Lots of room or RV’s and caravans, or just roll a swag out. Make sure you bring fresh water and take your rubbish with you. No one likes other peoples mess. No toilet or shower facilities.

Fantastic place. Gr8 for a over night stay when your traveling. Or gr8 place to relax by the river. 1 side has lots of wide open area for camping or bbq. The other side has less open space but still offers enough room for camping. There is also camping/caravan area as u approach the bridge from the west heading east just before u cross the bridge. Crossing the bridge from the west & turning right the track will take u to the larger area. To the left follow the track to the smaller area. Bring firewood as u will b lucky to find any here.

Great little place. Flat grassy spots beside the Campaspie River. Elevated about 5mtrs from the water, there is space for about 10-15 vans, with a little beach area near the bridge for swimming. Dogs allowed. Fires allowed. Serenity.

Nice clean campsite and managed to get a 2 Murray cod which were both released and a carp. Suggest bringing your own wood

Lovely place to camp with a nice creek to splash in. Dog friendly, no toilets so bring your own!

Great spot nice place to cool off and have a swim ,camp the night, there's no toilet tho so bring what you need.and don't litter this beautiful country with toilet paper everywhere.

Lovely. Just lovely. Full of bird life & quiet.... until this truck came at 7.30am and started pumping ? into the Campaspe River. What’s going on?

English's Bridge terrible place😁....flat ground close to river. Relaxing quiet place.😎 One side is very open and fairly level...byo own dunny(toilet and toiletpaper lol)😂🤣😂🤣 water beer wine and wood. You dont want to come here if relaxing and chilling out is your style as this is unique bush camping.....sorry doesn't cater for Glamour or glamping campers....seriously dont come here its terrible😉😉😁😁
