Tiny House - Sancho

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Sancho this weekend. It was exactly what we were wanting from a short getaway into the country.

The house wasn't too hard to find and the drive out from Melbourne was a pleasurable one.

Set amongst the hills near a little dam, Sancho is perfectly positioned to watch the local residents of the area roam around. There were two lovely goats that spent the days cutting the grass, loads of kangaroos, multiple flocks of ducks and a few very inquisitive kookaburras. The field adjacent to the tiny Home is also inhabited by deer who seemed to love roaming down to the fence line at sunset.

The amenities inside Sancho were more than what we needed. Hot running water towels, bedding, comfy bed, cooking utensils, fridge, stove, BBQ and table.

We went to the local shops (5 minutes drive up the road) before we checked in and stocked up on food.

The view of the stars and Milky Way was one of the best I've seen in years. There is a massive window next to the bed, so you can literally fall asleep under the stars.

It was a perfect two day stay where we managed to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life for a brief moment.

We highly recommend giving Sancho a visit!
