Double Oaks Estate & Cellar Door | Lancefield

My family went for a smoked BBQ and music day. What a lovely experience. The outdoor venue was picture perfect. The hostess, Kristy, was charming. The meal was most enjoyable. The real charmer was Pugsley the pug. Such a gentleman. If you want to enjoy the intimacy of your own company he left you alone, but if you were up for a pat, he never said no. I have 3 pugs and I spoke to Kristy about how lovely Pugsley was, never an intrusion. I said he reminded me of my Puggles, you'd swear they could be brothers.

Now for the wines. My wife loves her reds and was truly enthralled by their range of reds, their sophistication and fullness of flavour. I am a whites fan and I adore their reisling. Crisp and refreshing. I bought a dozen

Had a wonderful time visiting Double Oaks. Absolutely beautiful family run winery and cellar door. Travis and Kristy were fantastic and had taught me a lot about truffles! Personal favourite part were the dogs… especially the pug, Pugsley!!

Had such a beautiful day yesterday at this winery, what a hidden gem. All of the wines and food were delicious. The owners were incredibly warm and friendly, and it was so nice being greeted by their gorgeous dogs. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks for a wonderful day.

Had a lovely afternoon at Double Oaks. Such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, with a tasting of their lovely selection of wines. Hospitality and insights into the grapes that create these gorgeous wines was a really nice touch. This is where boutique wineries are just so special. Looking forward to my next visit.

What a hidden gem. Amazing opportunity to stay at the winery and enjoy a meal and wine tasting without having to watch what we drank and drive afterwards. A must stop if you are in central Vic and travelling through.

Wonderful place. Spent one night there with our motorhome. Great views and wild kangaroos in the fields next door. Did a wine tasting of the delicious selection of Double Oaks wine. Pinot Noir Shiraz was my favourite and they were all great. Definately recommend picking-up a few bottles (or boxes 😉) when you are there. Owners were so kind, welcoming and passionate about their craft.

Very relaxing family run winery amongst a small farm and truffle plantation. Owners are lovely people with 2 gorgeous dogs. Came on a quiet day and the owner showed us all the vats and barrels and explained the process to us. American pies were absolutely delicious. Will definitely return.

Wine tasting a great experience, lovely hosts & four legged fur babies to entertain us. The Chardonnay - good old style oaked flavour, our favourite!

We had an amazing day at Double Oaks as a part of the Autumn Festival. The wine was great and the food was very lovely. The atmosphere was intimate and nice and we even got to pet the farm animals. Highly recommended giving this gem a visit!

Double Oaks Estate is a beautiful country winery where you can go and enjoy tasting some beautiful wine that has been made with love. My favourite is their Shiraz.
The family owed winery has a welcoming feel with Kristy and Travis there to make you feel right at home. They often have great live music and if it’s in the cooler months they have fires to warm you up. If you have not visited them yet please do it’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.

Great winery, great wine and super friendly people. Weekend Getaway. Will be going to stay there often and take friends.

Very impressed with Double Oaks, lovely relaxed, small winery with live music on a Sunday. Staff were incredibly accommodating to adjusting food for dietary requirements after I contacted in advance. Most enjoyed, highly recommended.

Lovely winery for an afternoon gathering

We came here with a group on Saturday and it was resoundingly our favourite place of the day. A wonderful atmosphere, warm welcoming owners and really delicious wine. It was the personal touches that did it for us: live music, a tour of the barrel room as well as some cute sheep and 2x lovely dogs. Thanks so much.

This place deserves ten stars. The words hidden gem, times a million. This place is beautiful. Beautiful food, beautiful family run winery, and did I mention beautiful wine. We couldn’t decide at the tasting, all were delicious. We’ll be back. Keep up the amazing work.

This was a fabulous place to stay with spectacular views of the Macedon ranges, stars, wild life and farm life. Lots of animals around the place, access to hot shower, fridge, microwave, washing machine, electricity and of course food and wine! Great experience and would highly recommend to anyone who is traveling to the region to stay at the double oaks estate!

Recently stayed at Double Oaks Estate for a weekend away with friends.
A beautiful, cosy location to relax in the countryside. We were treated to a fantastic wine tasting of the entire range by Kristy and enjoyed bush walks around the property & idyllic evenings by the fire outside listening to wildlife & gazing at the stars.

Beautiful little family run winery with a relaxing and homey vibe. Good wines, brewed beers and delicious truffle honey! We will be back for the bbq!
