Howqua Valley Holiday Park

Had a lovely 3 day stay here and would recommend for a quiet relaxing getaway. We were there in May and there was barely anyone in the park.
In general, the gardens are well kept, however, the mini golf course was quite overgrown. The wildlife was a welcome surprise with colourful parrots on our verandah and many kangaroos around dusk.
The miners cottage we stayed in was clean and well appointed. The gas log fire was a beautiful feature. My only complaint would be the comfort level of the bed.....not great, sadly.

I visited for the first time in October last year and couldn’t wait to return. I visited again in March this year and had a ball. All the staff are super friendly and Nick and Sarah Jane are doing an amazing job running the park. The facilities are great. We spent hours lazing in and around the pool, jet skiing, kayaking and paddle boarding. It’s such a picturesque spot, I would highly recommend everyone to visit.

The new owners, Sarah and Nick, who have been running the park for just a year, were fantastic - they were welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The cabins are neat, comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and the facilities are great. The park is quiet and you wont find better views. The onsite shop has all of your essentials and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to stay again soon.

Our friends Carmel & Keith bought a permanent site here and our family visited a couple of days over Christmas. For $5 each we could take advantage of the park's beautiful facilities (I have fallen in LOVE with the lagoon pool!)
The shop is well stocked (does amazing hot chips) and all staff we spoke to were absolutely lovely.
We are desperately hoping a spot opens up in a cabin next January so we can stay on site with our friends next time. My name's on a sticky note in the office, guys don't forget me!! Fingers crossed🤞 Either way we will be back.

We've been here twice now.

The view from foreshore sites, particularly during sunset, is picturesque. As the sun slowly recedes behind the gorgeous mountains, the soft ripples in the lake illuminate in spectacular fashion.

The staff provide an incredibly accommodating experience, catering to your needs and always ready to help.

Amazing location and Awesome staff!

Katherine helped us with lunch and she is a SUPERWOMAN! Not only she prepared delicious lunch for us but the service was quick too and with a smile.

Amazing views and so many things to keep the kids busy.
All the staff were friendly, the cabin was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful location with views you want to stare at for days. Amazing sunrises and sunsets and fun activities for all ages. Great spot to do enjoy some water sports or fishing. The park facilities are fantastic, amazing pool and fun mini golf with hidden games such as giant checkers. The take away food had amazing egg and bacon rolls and hot chips. Was also really great to buy fuel right there as well as food supplies and alcohol from the bottle shop! You never need to leave the holiday park!!
The new owners are really nice and have plans to make it even more amazing.
Definitely will return and spend a week using this holiday park as our base to explore the area.

Great memories of this place as a kid and when I returned recently with my family it was just as I remembered! great location with friendly and welcoming staff and a really great family environment.

I can't believe this isn't on every single top 10 campsite lists. Our tent was 3m from the lake. Fantastic and clean facilities include bathrooms with showers, a camp kitchen, a pool, a reception area where you can buy the necessities

It was absolutely the perfect stay how could you not love to wake up to the beautiful ambience and surroundings and the lake the general has everything we needed meat for bbq amenities bottle shop and even tackle and fishing bait literally everything even got hay fever tablets and band aids 😁 so much walking, fishing and onsite activities we never had to leave this wonderful place and why would you want to and the staff and management were absolutely perfect so kind and helpful helped us with anything we needed no worries although we didn't need much as everything was just so easy and absolute perfection

The grounds were immaculate and mini golf was one of the best ive seen. Owners were really nice and new amenities were great. Food at the store was delicious and had all the items we needed or forgot to bring. Cracking views from the pool!

Beautiful view of the lake. Friendly staff. Office serves hot food and there is a little milk bar like shop to buy canned food, neccesities and alcohol.
Toilets and showers are clean and well maintained.
There is a swimming pool which is clean and has seating available. The caravan park also has a Mini golf course to use at an additional charge.
Family friendly.
