I've eaten many, many fish and chips in my 74 years but these are undoubtedly the best I've ever had. I'm just sad that I don't live in that area but I will certainly be back for more next time I visit.

Do yourself a favour and make the trip to this joint. I'm telling ya it's the best 🐟 and 🍟 shop around. Evey time we visit everything is absolutely 100% fresh and delicious . Hat's off too you all doing what you do.

Had take out fish&chips, huge portions, chips were great, amazing value for the money! In short driving distance to the sand dunes so a really great restaurant to get take out to eat while at the beach.

Right in the heart of Anna Bay is this busy little café. It’s very popular amongst locals and rightly so, the chicken wings are just incredible. This is the core of the business so don’t leave without trying them.

Best fish, chips, calamari, scallops and gravy that we have had in years. Very busy but still had great service. 👍

Great find! Has to be the best fish and chips I’ve had in a while. Wish there were more places like this around. Just good quality food, good prices and nothing too fancy.

My family and I are staying in the area for a weekend away and forgot to pack lunch, I found LJ’s cafe on Google and thought we’d pop in for a quick lunch stop. My partner got a seafood basket that was huge (and delicious!). I got a lunch special with 2 pieces of chicken, this chicken was to die for. It was so good and much, much nicer than any other fried chicken I’ve had, including KFC! I rarely leave reviews but felt urged to leave this one because it was so good! We will be making the drive back again!

Hi. We had your fish & chips 3 weeks ago that was on Sunday.
I had bad experience of most fish & chips shops that chips are soggy and big no flavour until I had yours.
It’s was amazing 🤩 chips are crispy and fish are so fresh. I don’t have many good words to explain but if I come to Anna bay I would come to your shop all the time plus I have already pass good reviews to all my friends.

Best chips and chicken pieces we've had in ages.
Freshly made, nice and hot crunchy chips seasoned perfectly and loved the chicken. Pity we were only here for the day as we would of eaten here again for sure. Highly recommend.

Honestly better then kfc chicken. I stopped here for a coffee and bought a feast with it. Service was great, chicken was amazing. Will definitely come back even if it means a long detour

Great service from the staff. We were greeted with a smile and offered suggestions! Our meals were served within ten minutes of ordering. the burgers and fish & chips were some of the best i had. The service, food and value for money is second to none. This is the place to go in Anna Bay! Thanks for your hospitality we will defiantly be back!

We got here at closing time. After a long afternoon on Stockton beach tired and hungry.
They didn't say a word about it being closing time. Very happily took our order and the food was great.

Wow. Was not expecting just now to have the best chicken burger ever!!! I rarely review cafés, but felt I had to share how delicious the food was here. Chips perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle..oh and the perinaise sauce 🤤 10/10 for everything, and top it all off the girl serving us was super lovely! Thanks to everyone who works here for my scrummy lunch 🤩

Food was tops. Chips were crispy, fish was moist and chicken was soooo tasty. Great service too. Plus a friendly kookaburra.

Ok, service was a little cagey but the food was great. I didn’t expect much on a very rainy & dreary day but I was pleasantly surprised. Fish & chips was amazing. Roast beef roll was all time. I went in asking for a schnitzel roll & was quite surprised when they said they didn’t serve schnitzel amongst all of the chicken options on the menu…. But I ordered the plan b & it was great.
A word to LJ’s… Keep up the good work out there.
A word to punters…. Phone orders might be hard to place at times & that’s explainable. Help is hard to find & kids at the counter might be green. But give the place a go & look beyond the front of house to enjoy the food & the lovely surrounds.

We are from outside this area on holiday so we stopped in here for lunch. the food, friendly service and wait time is amazing considering how busy they were and excellent prices as well. best fish and chips I’ve had for a long time
