Gardenfarm Farmstay

My stay at GardenFarm was an absolute delight, embodying everything one could wish for in a serene getaway. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality extended by Bob, the owner, made me feel right at home. His attention to detail and dedication to ensuring the comfort of his guests is truly commendable.

The property itself is a haven of tranquility, nestled amidst lush gardens that invite you to unwind and reconnect with nature. The accommodations were beyond expectations—impeccably clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. Every nook of GardenFarm exudes a sense of calm, making it an ideal retreat for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

A special mention must be made of Bonnie, the resident dog, whose friendly and playful demeanor added a unique touch of joy to my stay. Her gentle presence and eagerness to greet guests each morning brought a smile to my face and enriched the overall experience.

My time at GardenFarm was filled with relaxation, comfort, and the kind of hospitality that makes you look forward to returning. Whether it's the meticulously maintained surroundings, the cozy accommodations, or the friendly faces of Bob and Bonnie, GardenFarm is a gem that promises a memorable stay for all who visit.

An incredibly beautiful place, no reception which allowed us to totally switch off. Being by the river and the thick of nature was perfect. Thank you.

First time in ages I was able to relax and let the kids do their own thing. We felt they were safe in the area.

Bob is a wonderful host, the cabin was simple but comfortable and clean. And the location is beautiful. So why only 3 stars? Because we had the misfortune to arrive there at perhaps the only time in history when a group of 15 or so families had booked out not only the cabin next to ours, but the whole adjacent camping area. The noise ruined our experience of the place. They used a PA system (yes, that's not a misprint) for joke telling, karaoke, and random announcements until midnight, and their cabin was used as a dining room and bathroom by every family in the group. We managed to enjoy one day without them at the end of our 5 day stay.
This may never happen again, and who could begrudge Bob the opportunity to accept a chance at full occupancy? Nevertheless, our holiday was not what we expected or hoped for.
