Sokil Arts Eco Retreat

Sokil really is what you make of it. It's a completely blank canvas, and fairly rustic but completely serviceable. The big hall can accommodate a massive crowd and there is plenty of space outside to put a marquee or yurt (ours was 10 x 10).
The cabins are basic but comfortable with a shower and toilet per cabin. Between each cabin there is also another set of toilets and showers. The main toilet/shower block near the main hall is large and surprisingly good shower pressure. There's another room at the end of the hall that has three bedrooms and a lounge space. It's ideal for a wedding party to get ready in.
The large campground at the top can accommodate heaps of cars along with camping space.
The kitchen has everything you could need to run an event.
If you're not sure about booking I'd highly recommend setting up a time with Raina for a visit. She has so much experience with events there that she can answer any question and also has good local contacts for vendors and can arrange bar staff for you too. They also have some additional items you can hire on site (glassware and servingware). Plus Raina can do catering too, she sorted us out with a big breakfast (very affordably).
Raina was also amazing responding to text messages whenever I had a question about something.
For a party or big group event you're not going to find somewhere else that is as affordable and even more importantly does not have any curfew. I would happily book Sokil again.
Our local vendors were Twilight Glamping, Paddock Dreams (portaloos) and Surf Coast Party Hire.

Attended 3 events here now. All great. Beds could be better but all facilities are more than adequate
