Lots of fun to be had with the owner and he is a Sheffield Icon . Lots to look at and a must see for vintage items . On a side note the google site says temp closed . He has recently moved directly across the rd and is now called " Dr Mojo " so next time in Sheffield pay a visit and let the fun begin.

An extremely fantastic place to explore. A lot of surprises you will find when looking around. I hope I could have enough time to stay and wish we could meet again at the next time in the future.

Need a Gieger-counter or a Batman piano or a Calvary sabre? How about some Huon Pine off-cuts or an antique cut-throat razor? You get the idea. And it it's a political discussion you're after, better top-up the parking meter! Something for everyone here.

The most interesting shop in Sheffield. The curator (because he is much much more than a shop keeper) has a sense of humour that is priceless. This shop is a Sheffield must do!!

The owner is very friendly, he can speak Mandarin and he is very humble. He has a broader view of the world.

Atmosphere and collectables and MARK!

Chanced upon The Emporium when I was visiting Sheffield for the Steamfest festival last weekend. Spoke to both Mark and Jenni for a bit, and spent some time to go through their wonderful collections. It's always good to see places that gives pre-loved goods a second chance to shine.

在雪菲爾德 (Sheffield) 的小角落，住著一家色彩繽紛充滿朝氣的小店。這家小店販賣許多獨特的收集品，也有店主 Mark 和 Jenni 自己手製的一些東西。

和 Mark 的相遇，始於他一句非常標準的 “你好！” 當時的我正在和小店外五音不全的鋼琴打交道，當下被 Mark 標準的中文給震驚了！

Mark 是個活潑有趣並且非常有幽默感的人，對於其他種族的文化都抱持著相當開放的態度，除了中文以外也會簡單的用其他語言打招呼。Jenni 喜歡收集書本，而 Mark 很喜歡收集黑膠唱片。店裡也擺放了許多酷炫的物品。

對於他們來說，這些大大小小的東西的生命已經在原主手中走到了盡頭，但對於其他人來說，它們或許是寶藏； 而 Mark 與 Jenni 的使命，就是賦予這些物品第二生命，也算是他們為愛護地球做出的小小貢獻。

偶爾喜歡探索類似這樣的小店家，因為許多二手物品，身上都帶著精彩的故事，只是等待著我們去發掘它。
