Will be back.
Lamb shanks, rump steak, scallops, parmigiana, cabanara all super good and beautifully presented.

Great job on our meals.

Desserts are amazing too.

Had an afternoon/ night here yesterday, unreal. The new owners very hospitable, the staff very friendly, the drinks cold, and the meal was yummo, decent size and lovely. I had the chicken,my husband had the steak, and both were great. The pub looks fantastic, all the best to the new owners, keep giving this sought of service and you can't go wrong. Thankyou for a lovely experience cheers 👍👏👏

What a great pub! We went for dinner after spending the day at Cradle Mountain. The food absolutely hit the spot. Really well priced and friendly service. If we were locals we would be back!!

We enjoyed our Meals at the Sheffield Hotel last night. We had the curried Prawns and the Stir fry Beef. Both meals were great.

Not one for writing reviews but had a Sunday session at the Sheffield Hotel recently as a friend recommended checking it out as it was under new management / ownership. What an awesome little country pub, service and food was top notch, real deal pub food done properly , we were a group of 6 ,everyone really enjoyed the hospitality, will definitely visit again soon.

Had a great night with the locals after a hard day climbing cradle mountain had plenty of beers with the locals all nice and friendly including Bruce the mayor even got to sleep in there backyard camping area and best of all they have amazing toasties 💦

Honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect from a tiny town in rural Tassie, but at this humble establishment you are met with friendly staff who make you feel at home, and the steak sandwich was absolutely sensational. Definitely worth stopping by!

Stayed 3nights in Sheffield and found the community to be warm and friendly and the people at the Sheffield Hotel are the same. Welcoming to travellers and locals with great service,cold beer and tasty meals . Live music when i was there was perfect for the setting (Publican tells me Sunday afternoon live music is in his plans)Throughly recommend .

Been going too the Sheff hotel every fortnight Thursday ! And can say meals are a great feed ! I myself luv a parmi ✅✅ and the fish n chips big feed but very nicely cooked & have change there style of chips nice n chunky and crispy ! The pork sliders yummo ! Overall with my dining experience 10/10

Had a fantastic stay at Sheffield Hotel in Tasmania. Great cheap meals, free camping out the back. I would recommend & stay here again.

Lovely quiet pub in a scenic area. Great food and service

What a lovely place to go for lunch. The staff are so polite and helpful, the food served quickly and piping hot. The help yourself salad bar is small and the choice a little limited but overall the food was excellent and the beer cold.
Do yourself a favor and go there for a meal, you will not be disappointed.

Had a delicious dinner here, soup, crumbed brie, fish and chips and scallops. It was all really tasty, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. What a country pub should be!

Staff were friendly and beer was cold. The Sunday session was great.

Food was great, some fantastic specials. Supply was a little low on some dishes, but it was a very busy week. Service was amazing. Wine list was a little light: something between a standard wine and an expensive one would of been great, but what was there was good. Fun place, well worth a night there.

Was served by Ruby Skirving a lovely waitress who was incredibly professional and looked after us all night. If i was opening a pub Ruby Skirving would be the first person I’d hire.

Didn't stay the night, but had dinner here. I ordered the Rump Steak, and it was absolutely superb, although the portion sizes were quite generous! I would highly recommend getting food here if you are in the area.

Service was great and the meals were great and well priced. Highly recommend having a feed here
