Mural Park in Launceston is a hidden gem that seamlessly blends art, nature, and community spirit. The park features an impressive collection of murals, each telling its own unique story. We stopped by this little town on the way to our accommodations. The murals are really interesting and there’s so many to see!

Unexpected murals, plenty of parking to enjoy as well as a park with a playground close by.

We had a fabulous time wandering around and taking in the fantastic art. We happened to visit at a time when they were doing a public paint by numbers of a mural, which was fabulous fun and really added to our visit! Definitely don't just pass by Sheffield and come visit this amazing site!

At the edge of Sheffield is a park with a huge array of fantastic murals. They are of great quality and you can spend a lot of time just soaking in the art. It us a great point of difference and just the start of many murals in the area. A wonderful town. Well worth a visit.

Good grassy area with a couple of concreted pathways. Around 18 double sided mural panels for viewing artworks. It was excellent to see previous Mural Festival winners artworks being displayed, all the way back to 2005 winners.
Also there is a picnic table and a few bench seats around the paths.
Highly recommended.

Spectacular is the only words to describe this town and its art work.

Sheffield is a beautiful little country town with the most amazing views surrounding it. Not only is this town full of the most amazing art work on buildings but it also has so much history. Never fear If your hungry there are plenty of lovely place's to eat in this town I just wish I could of gone to all of them as they all pretty good. Its about an hour and a half out of Launceston but definitely worth the trip.

Lovely place to sit and catch a quick snack. A beautiful picnic spot. Sit in the middle of artistic murals and artists. Close to basic ammenities. Bring your own food or enjoy the coffee and chips from the cafe close by.

Update every year with some new paintings, I have been here more than 7 or 8 times, everytime, there are few new paintings, all amazing , great work.

Wow, there are some really talented people. Allow a good hour to really appreciate all the amazing murals on display. I only found this by chance, so glad I did. Some seem almost 3D.

Mural Park Sheffield is an exerience not to miss while in Tasmania🍎. Each April an event called Mural Fest, where local & international artists come to compete, is displayed in this park in the city centre. The murals are breathtaking & interesting as is Sheffield itself, with its mural encrusted buildings. Very interesting town, lots to see & do.
