Sue’s Bar and Grill

Had lunch here today ( 13/11/22) with 4 of us , we reserved our table, but noticed people walking in without a reservation were quickly taken care of as well.
The place was very busy, but service was prompt, friendly and super efficient.
Our drinks were attended to immediately, lunch orders taken and all done with a minimum of fuss.
Food was excellent, ambiance great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
We're fortunate as locals to have a great place like Sue's and will certainly keep coming back here.
Big compliments to the staff.

Fresh and delicious. Sue’s has the best chips on the island hands down. The specials change frequently. I can vouch the Chicken Parmigiana and Mango Salsa grilled fish are both excellent choices. When I’ve arrived with my dog they’ve been kind enough to offer a bowl of water for her. The decor may be a bit dated, but the food is top notch. My favourite cafe here on the island!

Hubby and I went to Sue's Bar and Grill for a drink and ended up having the best afternoon ever. We danced to a local live band who played a variety of music and just made the bar and grill come to life. Every three weeks they have a live band so we'll be definitely be going back again.

The best T-bone I ever had and the cheesy garlic starter is to die for! Awesome views, amazing atmosphere and super super staff. We really enjoyed our evening and definitely recommend Sue's Bar and Grill.

We had the most amazing dinner and couldn’t fault these lovely ladies one bit! Outstanding service and the food was delicious even though we were the last ones to be served for the night, arriving late for dinner but they were so gracious. We’re only here for a week but we’ll be back and will bring others!

Our favourite beachside restaurant for Sunday brunch & lunch. The place really comes alive once the music starts.

We took my mother here for lunch whilst visiting her in QLD. Staff were wonderful and very respectful of my elderly mother.
The food was excellent and plentiful with a good range to choose from. we had Chicken parmigiana, Burger with fries and Nachos
We sat outside facing the water and park it was very delightful. But inside would have been just as good

Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had and the prawns were so yummy!! The ladies whom I made my booking over the phone were super lovely and kind, walked in feeling like home right by the beach and welcomed so warmly.

Incredible staff, absolutely amazing food like wow. Service was great and love the way the bar and restaurant look! Honestly can't wait to come back, I see myself having dinner here for years to come.

Really good experience. Great food. I had the steak burger which was really good not chewy and rough like other ones I’ve had. The staff were really nice. Amazing service. They were very accommodating to my baby

We were at Sue's bar and grill on Saturday night food was fantastic i had the American style pork ribs which were fall off the bone.. and my wife had the chicken caesar salad which was huge .. and very tasty.. they also had ice cold beer on tap.. we will go again next time we are up that way..great outlook also

We drove up from Brisbane yesterday to celebrate my Dads 81st Birthday. Just randomly picked Sue’ s online and we’re so pleased we did. Wonderful yummy food and great position and atmosphere but oh what a refreshing change to have such amazing service. All young and so obviously enjoying what they do. It really comes through and makes the customer dining experience so much more enjoyable. All of them had great product knowledge, were accommodating with our requests and were very prompt and friendly. With smiles!!!! Will definitely go again. Thank you for helping to make my Dads day. 😊

We just went to Sue's for dinner for our daughters 6th birthday. The staff were so amazing, bought the cake out and sang Happy birthday with us. Whenever we go there we have such an awesome experience. Beautiful staff, amazing food and the best atmosphere. You walk out full, happy and feeling like you've been hanging with your family. Can not recommend enough.
If you haven't been, you HAVE to go. You won't regret it! You'll end up like us and continue going back.

Had an amazing lunch at Sue’s. The food was Awesome and more importantly the lovely hospitality extended by the crew - especially Jane. Took special care to make my parents feel home. Cheers guys and keep up the good work!
