Went to buy a traditional Indian envelope to put a small gift into it
Had a good look around the store
Bought mango chutney which we have used on a number of dishes including a slow cooked lamb, dumplings and in vegetable soup
The mango chutney is thick and sweet
Also used the tamarind chutney on the lamb
Both are yummy

Has a pretty wide variety of desi products all at a reasonable international price. Nice little place to drop by if you want to spice up your culinary game.

NOW GOLDEN INDIA HAS NOE ADDED MEAT SHOP TOO, NAME ALI'S BUTCHER. IT IS VERY CONVINENT TO BUY GROCERIES AND MEAT AT ONE STORE.

I have been going this store for over 4 years now and have always had a positive experience. The owner recommends new products based on items we purchase regularly most of which have turned out to be good.

One of the best Indian stores in the western suburbs of Adelaide. Managed and maintained quite well with a variety of product lines. Genuine pricing and decent customer service. I have been shopping in this store from the time it was first opened a few years ago, and will always recommend to others.

Really decent and affordable pricing across all ranges of products. It's my go-to spot to stock up on Indian/Desi spices and dairy within the Western suburbs.

This Indian Store is well located in the Western Suburbs. They have a good selection of Indian Ingredients. The recent addition of a Butcher has made the store even better.

Wide variety of Indian products and brands. Friendly and helpful staff. The shop is neat and tidy. Products are place neatly and easy to find. Will definitely go again.

@Ashish Joshi i have been eating choco chips from the same shop for the past 2 yrs and there is never a complaint and probably the weevil that you are talking about is the chocchips of the biscuit or you must have left the packet open for a long time. please check your exipry date as it shows october 2019 expiry not july 2019

@madhav dave Woolworths, Coles, Foodland and every other shop makes you pay for plastic bags. So why shouldn’t Golden India? Plastic is polluting our planet and paying for plastic bags makes consumers less likely to buy plastic bags and more likely to bring their own bag. All supermarkets and shops have this. Keep whining about how you have to pay 15c for a plastic bag and I’m SURE all shops will change to your liking.
