One of the highlights of the September school holidays and the October weekend is visiting this beautiful garden. It is a permanent garden that combines the beauty of tulips, daffodils, and perennials with trees, bushes, and pathways. It is a photographer's paradise. It also has complimentary tea and coffee as well as a cafe. There is pleasant live music in the background and sitting under the shade of a blossoming tree enjoying a cup of coffee, I was transported to the gardens of Paris as I watched the crowds walk past and marvelled at the wonderful weather and the pleasant environment. Sigh.

Tulips Top Garden is a beautiful gem just 20 minutes away from the heart of Canberra. A visit here is a delight for the senses, with aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained gardens. The pristine condition of the place adds to its charm.

A major plus point is the cleanliness of the amenities, including the toilets, which are kept in excellent condition. Additionally, they provide a coffee service which adds to the overall comfort and enjoyment of your visit.

The garden offers a lovely picnic area where you can enjoy a meal amidst the beautiful environment, making it perfect for a family outing or a romantic date.

Another noteworthy feature is the affordable entry fee: only $22 per adult. Children are allowed free entry, making Tulips Top Garden not only a picturesque experience but also a cost-effective one.

Overall, Tulips Top Garden is definitely worth a visit for both locals and tourists. It offers a relaxing and enjoyable day out, combining the beauty of nature, convenient amenities, and excellent value for money.

One of the greatest privately run gardens. Every year we have gone, the flowers have been amazing. As we live at a time when the climate is changing and weather patterns become more increasingly unpredictable, the gardeners here are doing their absolute best each year to get the thousands upon thousands of flowers to bloom at the right time each year. From constant rain in 2022 to dry/sunny/hot weather in 2023, keep up the brilliant work.

We visited Tulip Top Gardens which had many tulips in full bloom. The entire place is bursting with colours with flowers and plants well arranged. There are pleasant walking paths, chairs to have a seat, places to have a picnic, cafe and restrooms. Tea and coffee are complimentary. We enjoyed our visit very much

An absolute gem of a place to visit and relax. The gardens are immaculate and more than we could have imagined. Between the floral beds and blossoming trees the colours are amazing. Would recommend it for all ages as a must see

So beautiful here, it's 22 entry for adults, steep for a garden, but it's worth it if you want smaller crowds, clean toilets. You can walk around in an hour or so taking some photos. Or laze around for longer... however on that point. I do think there's one too many white chairs and picnics around spoiling the view. Maybe keep the picnic and white chair areas to some sections only

We love these gardens. We visited yesterday and the flowers are beautiful. We appreciated the fact that whilst some beds had finished flowering and would have given joy to visitors in the previous two weeks there were many more flower beds in full bloom that we could enjoy. It is so relaxing with the beautiful music piped throughout the grounds. Thank you for your continued hard work in crafting such a beautiful display of flowers throughout the whole period you are open.

Visited Tulip Top Gardens today for the first time, we really enjoyed it! The complimentary tea/coffee was a nice touch. Plenty of tables and chairs if you wanted somewhere to sit for lunch. Love that it was dog friendly! Lots of care put into the gardens, footpaths, and placards on each of the plants. The classical music playing was subtle and at a pleasant volume. Ample parking available. Plenty of plants for sale however not so suitable for visitors coming from interstate. Wish there was a gift shop to buy a souvenir like postcards, magnets or cups with the tulips on it.

Breathtaking views from the moment you enter! There are beautiful blooms throughout the gardens (photos do not give it justice). I also loved the ambience - especially with the music. Absolutely enjoyed our visit here!

Very much enjoyed our visit to this gorgeous little garden! The flowerbeds are absolutely beautiful and the scenery was stunning. We also ate some delicious Dutch pancakes which perfectly rounded off the adventure! We will certainly be back 💕

Great flowers and more relaxed than Floriade. No big crowds and very easy to get around. Paid $20 to enter, but well worth it. Lots of tables and chairs in the shade if you just want to relax. Plenty of parking right out front.

First visit this season wasn’t a disappointment despite the weird weather - incredible wind, pelting rain and a couple of unusually hot days. The hard slog year in year out, by Bill, Pat and Dallas is evident by the magnificent plantings and the joy experienced by the visitors. It’s such a gorgeous place with a great vibe, never over crowded and your doggo is welcome too 🐶 Grab a season ticket if you’re local so you can get spoiled by the changing gardens over the weeks they’re opened and pick up some plants from their nursery as you leave. Something for everyone really and well worth the $22 general entry. Just love going a few times every year 🌷❤🌷❤🌷

Always our favourite place. Visited at the end of sep in 2022. Super crowded but colors were more vibrant. This year, 2023, went there during the 1st weekend since opening (17 sep), felt very much nicer as it was not so crowded. Didnt have to drive super faraway for parking too. Could take photos without a passerby much easily. The admission for 2023 is $22/adult. Much better than Floriade in Canberra. We went Corbett Gardens (bowral), tulip top and floriade all on the same day. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the effort!

In response to the 1 star review posted today from the couple who claim there were “no tulips” and “three quarter dead” garden beds - I was at Tulip Tops today with my children and the gardens were incredible, beautifully manicured and full of gorgeous flowers (including many tulips!). Thank you, Tulip Tops for a wonderful afternoon!

Absolutely beautiful, way better than Floriade. We took a picnic and enjoyed the classical music filtering through the trees. Tulip heaven. Been twice and now it’s our annual weekend away!

These gardens are a great place for dogs. My dog had an enjoyable time meeting all the other pooches there.
The flowers were pretty. The cafe had plenty of tables and chairs, and people had set up their own picnic around the gardens.
If you need to use the bathroom use the one in the building where the tickets are purchased. The port-a-loos had plumbing problems.

Well worth the visit. Plenty of places to sit. A gorgeous walk around and a view from the top of the hill. Love the tulips and the blossom.
Better than Floriade.

A lovely amazing garden full of various trees and flowers. We went at tulip time and discovered it I'd also cherry blossom time as well. Just beautiful.

What a wonderful flower filled oasis just out of Canberra! We saw some happy lizards, a fantastic amount of happy tulips and flowers (particularly impressive given the shift in weather this year) and the hidden valley full of happy people. Can't recommend more! 🌷🌷

This is a place that one should not miss visiting during spring! Great place to relax. The flower garden is magnificent and so well maintained. There's a cafe and free coffee and tea 🍵☕. Lot of places to sit and watch. Even with so many people visiting it did not feel crowded. Loved it!!
