The Bakery Adaminaby

Dec 2024 - The bakery is tucked away in a corner of the small shopping area, next to the large op shop opposite the pub. Great little set up inside with tables for customers. There is also some outdoor seating in front of the shop, or choose the seating in the small park. Friendly service to constant stream of lunch time customers. Great selection of hot and cold food. Second visit and will return when travelling in the area. I had a plain meat pie good chunks of meat, tasty gravy. Followed by a cold apple pie which was also tasty. Forgot to take photos.

It was a cold day, and nothing is nicer on a cold day than a warm bakery and a good sausage roll, and this was both. Actually an excellent sausage roll - flaky pastry, nicely seasoned, large enough to constitute a meal, one of the best I’ve had. The soy hot chocolate was nice too. Pleasant people at the counter, clean and tidy place, lots of other packaged stuff (like sweets, pickles) as well as a full range of their bakery goods, pastry, etc. Nice to sit at the bench in the window for a quiet bit, though plenty tables for more conversational seating. A tops place to find in a tidy, tiny, little town.

The Bake House has authentic country-style baked goods which will bring back happy childhood memories. We opted for pies and sauce which were delicious. The coffee was rich and creamy - unexpected quality so far from any big town. Generous cakes, scones, slices and cream buns were on display ... which to choose? If you're in the Snowy mountains, do yourself a favour and detour to Adaminaby!!

Wow. Busiest I’ve ever seen a bakery. Must have been 25 people ahead of me in the line - all seeking a fresh bread or pastry and a coffee. The staff remained friendly and efficient. Cakes good and I settled for a cold drink.

Service was great, friendly. The coffee was spot on and the pie was yummmm, pastry held together and was flaky not soft. The filling was tasty and chunky, the meat was tender!. Definitely go again!!

Amazing pies and fresh bakery items, we stopped here for a quick breakkie on our way to Perisher and would highly recommend this place. Dont forget to pack some local made chocolates and muffins for the road.

Being a coffee drinker, this is my first stop everyday enroute Lobshole for a cappuccino. Bakery items are good as well. And this is the only place after cooma when you are travelling to Tantangara for grabbing a bite or to have a packed lunch for the day.

If your staying or passing through Adaminaby, this is a must visit. Tasty pies great coffee and their bread is so fresh and tasty . One of the best Egg and bacon rolls ever. Wow. A real step up. Really fresh bread, not that fake supermarket stuff. Love this bakery. Staff were very friendly.

Best service in Adaminaby. Amazing selection of baked treats & delicious hot brekky options. Even with a massive line of waiting customers, full tables & orders coming out their ears, the staff still managed to be super polite and upbeat. Loved the coffee! Kids loved the apple & custard danish. Can't wait to return next time we are in town!!!

A trip to the snowies isn’t complete without stopping here. Hands down the best and biggest hamburger I have ever had, got the small chips and couldn’t eat them all, big portions 👍🏻. Pies and pastries are also great.

We found this place when we stayed in Adaminaby to go skiing. What a great little place. Staff are warm, food great and coffee very acceptable. I love supporting small businesses like this, especially when you can see the commitment they have. Give it a go.

I haven't had a proper, peppery steak pie like this for a long, long time - I'd go all the way back to Adaminaby just for this. And the delicious jams they sell - the cherry jam is amazing!
