Snowy Mountains Fishing Lodge

FANTASTIC PLACE !!!!
Just spent a week at the Snowy Mountain Fishing Lodge with some old friends and we had a ball. This place is so well set up for a snowy mountain's escape. There is ample room off the street for parking boats and cars and a private courtyard with a fire pit we cooked steaks on, a large Pizza Oven (not just for Pizza's) and a man-sized Offset Cooker/ Smoker. The boat ramp is a stone's throw and never got busy during our stay. The rooms were warm and quiet, and big enough for all of us to spread out comfortably.

We all agreed a week was probably a bit short because there's a lot to do in the area, and we are already planning our next trip here.

Wow!!!!! Awesome accommodation and a real home away from home. We travelled from Albury with 2 families for a week of fishing. This place is extremely well set-up and has plenty of space in and around the house. It's not often you can park your two boats and all the cars right at the house and feel safe to leave your gear. Very secure and private. This is a real lodge and goes far beyond the usual holiday home rental. The kids had plenty of room to run, explore and hang out in the house so we could enjoy some quality down time after a big days fishing. The kitchen has everything you need and the large lounges and dining table make family entertaining easy. A beautiful warm fireplace for the colder nights and a fantastic front lawn with views of the lake throughout the day.You are soo close to the ramp our wives would walk down to meet us when we returned. An absolute cracker holiday and we will be back!

I recently stayed here for a few days fly fishing and wish I could have stayed longer. The accommodation is amazing. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you could want. Beautiful fireplace, large bedrooms, views of the lake and large outdoor entertaining area with 2 bbq's, giant american style smoker and pizza oven just outside the kitchen door. The house itself is stunning with so much atmosphere and charm. Easy to find with lots parking for cars and boats. The owner has thought of everything.
If you are going to the Snowys for fishing, skiing or just having a break away this is where you want to stay.
I would not hesitate to reccomended Snowy mountains fishing lodge.

We stayed in this lodge for 3 nights back in 2019. It was such an such an amazing experience. The weather was perfect and the early morning snowfalls made our snowy trip picture-perfect. The house itself has its own character. Loved every moment of our stay and brought back some great memories.

The photos don't do this place justice. What a unique design, large stone fire place, private out of the wind outdoor courtyard with woodfire, and great escape spaces backing onto bush land. Clean and tidy and views over the lake. Plenty of room for cars and trailers.

Absolutely perfect.Heaps of room for 8-10 people and we'll appointed.Ample parking and great outdoor BBQ area.Only 5 minute drive to the Adaminaby boat ramp👍

It was bit of a drive to get there as most good fishing places are, the difference was having a warm shower, a big stone fireplace and comfy beds to greet you on arrival rather then a tent. The lake is just 400m away from the lodge, we had our own boat for an early start which was almost a late start when the its owner realized the battery was low fortunately there were outside power points and plenty of space even with three cars there to manoeuvre about and run the extension cord over to charge it. So we got to see the sun come up in the middle of the lake, even managed to catch a few fish that we the grilled on BBQ when we got back to the Lodge didn’t even need to cut the fire wood. Got to do it all over again the next day to put the fish in the freezer take home Monday.

All in all a great problem free long weekend, thanks to the Snow Mountain Fishing Lodge
