Always a pleasure to go to Anglers Reach Caravan car. We’ve been going there with our family for the last 20 years. Joyce is always accomodating and we feel taken care of. Perfect spot for a fishing trip and sitting around a camp fire. Gods country

We had a memorable stay, cabins were clean, warm and cosy. The parks was very picturesque and peaceful. The owner Joyce was very helpful with local knowledge and anything we needed. Had a lovely Dog Betty who greeted us. Will definitely go back.

Quaint family run caravan park right on the lake. The park has been run and managed by the owners, Joyce and her late husband along with their lovely blue heeler dog Betty. Joyce is very warm and welcoming.

If you are looking for peace, solitude, and lots of wildlife than this is the place for you. The amenities are simple but they are fine. We have stayed here twice now in our caravan and would definitely come again.

Prices are much cheaper than the caravan park in adiminaby. Just ring Joyce and leave a message and she will get back to you, or stop in for a chat as she lives on the property and runs the store as well.

My wife, daughter and I were made to feel at home by the lovely host Joyce. She was very pleasant and has a wealth of information on the surroundings. The surroundings are fantastic as you would expect from the Snowys. We stayed on a grassed unpowered site waking up to some spectacular views for each of the two mornings during our stay. The toilets and showers were nice and clean the and the little general store that Joyce ran was very handy. We will definitely go back again.

Great place for a getaway. The park and amenities are clean and well laid out. Joyce is a lovely lady and so helpful and knowledgeable. My family had such a great experience here, Anglers Reach Caravan Park will be our go-to place when staying in the region. Would rate this place higher if I could!

What a magical spot! I was a bit worried because of the reviews, but I think that might have been a one off. The place has big, beautiful grass sites, surrounded by trees. The facilities were clean and pleasant. If you want a fire, try and snag a site near a firepit or bring an elevated firepit so you don’t damage the grass. The most scenic sites are unpowered, but even the powered are lovely.

A classic park in a prime location that is run by a friendly lady (Joyce) and her loyal little cattle dog. We camped near the playground and had the fire pit to ourselves. The hot shower after a long day’s fishing was the icing on the cake.
Looking forward to getting back there and do it all again.

Great place to stay...On arrival at the office/store we were greeted by Joyce and her dog manager, Betty. Joyce is a very lovely lady, who is the owner of this park. She has loads of knowledge and information about the area. Andrew her son had the heater on in our cabin, which made it warm and toasty.. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in a very comfortable cabin and had a lovely time..close to the snow and ski fields... lots of wildlife , wombats, echindas, rabbits and kangaroos moving around the park.. we even seen snow on our way out...We will be back with our caravan in the springtime... Thank you Joyce and Andrew... xx

My partner and myself decided to take the caravan away for the weekend down to Lake Eucumbene, we usually camp in our roof top when we are down here very happy we took the caravan as it's rained the whole time we have been here and we are very happy we decided to go to Anglers Reach Caravan Park.
We have a great site with great views and when you are in a relaxing place like here you take the weather in your stride.
I have to say the lady running this park could not be more helpful, lovely person and also the young man who suggested where we should camp also very helpful, if ur in the area you should try this place, we are very happy we did 👍

Nice place, some rubbish around the caravans. The beautiful store lady could be more friendly.

A fantastic spot. Really lovely. Joyce and Betty ( the Blue Healer) are very good hosts. Very peaceful and beautiful but oh so run down that it is sad. We would stay again, but this might suit all.

If I could Rate less than One star I would.
After wanting to book Cabin accommodation today ( speaking to one of the probably the Park Managers Joyce.
She quoted me $950 for 5night stay when I pointed out that your Website is $750 she replied well prices are in the middle of changing and it's $950 and will not honour the advertised price...and either book or go somewhere else...then proceeded to hang up on me...wow...
I tried to call back but no answer...I would hate to have nasty rude people running my park...Do not stay here they obviously are not doing the right thing and not upkeeping their cabins
Very bad customer service...we have stayed here a few years back when the managers then where lovely..never again with Joyce's attitude..and you want people to come back after Covid...no way... discussing service..

Sad to see what this place is coming too once our favourite getaway now a horror show
Prices are simply not rising they are being gouged, she picks her price and changes what she has said which creates confusion.
Very very sad to see definitely needs an audit out there that's a very poor way to run a business.

I would not recommend this accomodation to my worst enemy. We booked a basic cabin of which I could see no pictures online- we were told there was no shower or toilet inside which was okay and that we'd need to bring our own linen/bedding - as seasoned campers we were okay with that. Saved us setting a tent up.

Let me tell you - I would have much rather stayed in a tent. We were greeted by the stench of mould and neglect as we walked through the door. There was mould creeping up the walls, mould along the joints of the ceiling panels and cobwebs in every corner.

The curtains were mouldy, stained and not large enough to cover the windows.

A patch of masonite had been stapled in the corner of the bedroom where clearly the floor had rotted through. This area was also damp to the touch. The walls were squishy along the bottom as they were rotting away.

The bunk bed did not have a top rail and the mattresses were lumpy and hailed from the 70's.

We checked in at night and reception was closed. The park was poorly lit. There was no map in the reception window or in the cabin showing where the amenities block was so that was fun fumbling around the dark for that. Found it eventually only to find it wasn't heated - makes showering very uncomfortable when it's a balmy 2deg outside.

We checked out early as the place was clearly a health hazard. I told them about the mould and was told it was 'everone says that and just timber staining, all the cabins are like that, it's caused by moisture getting in between the panels' Hmmm - possibly if everyone else says it's mould it probably is!

When I mentioned the curtains Joyce (park owner) said 'Well you were told it was basic when you booked'. Yes - basic but not riddled with mould. I said I'd be happy to pay for the nights we'd stayed but would not all booked. Joyce then told be she'd already manually charged my credit card which they had kept on file from when I paid a deposit (which I did not consent to). She would not offer any refunds and stuck to the 'you were told it was basic when you booked' line.

This would have been basic accomodation in a third world country - not Australia. Do not book if you value your health. Brand new Range Rovers sit in the driveway of the owners residence so clearly fees paid are going anywhere other than park maintenance.

Avoid at all costs

We were looking for a future trip for a group of 5 family. My wife and I stop there, I went to the office, no one, rang the bell, called, after 10 min of waiting we went for a walk in the park then went back to the office, waited 1 min to be welcome by an elderly lady that told us with her very rude unwelcome authoritarian voice that we should go to the office before wandering in the park. I apologised and explained that I did come to the empty office to be told that it wasn't true as she was here all the time....( and we so her driving back in). I don't understand how that sort of welcoming can be good for any business.
