Beautiful lodge in a quiet valley. The kitchen and dining areas are perfect for friends, couples or groups to enjoy a self catered weekend.

The photos can't do justice to this place. It's absolutely breathtaking. This views right from the back porch are amazing. Stary nights, beautiful sunsets and clouds in the morning. It's a perfect spot for a weekend away. We were lucky enough to get there on a weekend which was rainy on Saturday and Sunny on Sunday. We got to experience best of both worlds. It's is absolutely beautiful on anyday.
Bernadette, the host, is very helpful. Everything you need is there in the cabin. Book it NOW!

Beautiful location, we had the most relaxing stay, the smell of the trees and the view were amazing
The lodge is very comfortable and everything we needed was on hand

Silkwood Lodge was perfect. Wood fire was cosy, the lodge was clean, welcoming and overlooking an amazi view of the valley. Hot tub topped it all off. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a secluded getaway.

The most amazing place, total tranquillity amazing views first class accommodation. For the romantic at heart or just to relax this is the place to stay .

Resident rat was not a good surprise and to find out later that the Host was aware of it also left us with a poor experience. Shame because the location is exceptional.
