GOODNESS ME!! What an amazing weekend of quiet rest. Wildlife from birds, wallabies, kangaroos, possums. We stayed in one of the retreat homes and enjoyed the country feel. With the spa on the deck and the breath taking view!!

The 2 hour massage at my cabin, arranged for me by management was incredible.

We had the breakfast hamper and cheese hamper organised for us. There was a rose petal heart display on the bed when we arrived as we were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary.

There is a nature swimming lagoon which we walked around also a swimming pool, tennis court and some lovely bush walks.

I honestly could have stayed for much much longer. If you like all the adventure or all the quiet without the shiny polished feel of a city hotel then this is your stay.
I always prefer the million star experience over just a 5 star one!!

A perfect couples getaway.
We stayed in the Jaibaru cabin, a beautiful old Australiana cabin that had the most beautiful and extensive view over the valley. The cabin was well equipped for our 3 day stay and we enjoyed having meals and drinks on the verandah. The spa was perfect and private to enjoy the view. A most relaxing break in a peaceful environment.

Perfect little getaway. My husband and I spent a couple of nights at Jabiru Spa Cabin and we loved every moment of it. The cabin itself was great, clean and it had everything you would need during your stay. The view from the cabin was spectacular. We loved having our coffee in the morning on the deck and a couple of drinks in the spa during the night. Both nights we spent about 5 hours in the spa, talking and looking at the sky. Our getaway was 2 years ago now and we still talk about it. Highly recommend Cabins in the Cloud.

We recently stayed in the Peta cabin and it honestly exceeded our expectations. The photos don't do it justice! It is the most magical place. The privacy, the scenery, the wildlife and the sounds of nature make this the most relaxing stay. Plus visits from the 3 most gorgeous furkids (Xena, Chilli & Sylvie) just top everything off if you are a dog lover :) Relaxing in the spa looking over the mountains is unforgettable. We took our own food and had a great BBQ on the balcony. Exactly the mini child free break we needed and we are feeling so relaxed and recharged. We can't wait to go back again. Thanks so much for having us!!

What a magical place. We arrived on 9/12/22 and our cabin (Kirawa)was so neat and tidy, the spa was also great with the great views. We also had the pleasure of meeting 2 local residents (2 kelpies). It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and this place we will never forget. Thank you so much for having us.

This place is so beautiful! We booked the PETA cabin and we really enjoyed our stay. Staying in the spa, out in nature and watching the sunset, is a heavenly experience. Bernadette is such a pleasure to communicate with and she really looked after us during our stay. We would love to go back there.

Absolutely breathtaking. Such a peaceful and romantic atmosphere, perfect for anniversaries, birthday surprises etc. My partner and I stayed in the Jabiru cabin, we could not fault the property itself at all. Super clean, everything you could possibly need is provided! Tennis court and pool are fantastic as well. The private spa and view was by far the BEST I have ever seen! 100% would recommend!

Beautiful getaway retreat! Easy gateway to the Hunter Valley wineries!

WOW!!!! It rained the whole time we stayed at this beautiful cabin (we had the Peta cabin), but honestly it made it even more magical and it was mesmerising watching the clouds roll in and out with the rain (the only disappointing thing was it meant the dogs didn't come to visit us)! There's something special about having a spa in the rain and watching the clouds over the valley below! Everything about the cabin was perfect, really clean and had everything we needed (you can be totally self sufficient here), the bed was super comfy and warm, the fireplace made the evenings extra cosy, and it was an easy drive to the Hunter Valley for some wine tasting. The spa and the view makes this place absolute heaven and the price for the weekend was really reasonable - we hope to be back!

We spent our 1st anniversary in the Jabiru Spa Cabin and could not have imagined a more perfect weekend 🥰 the cabin was great and the view even better plus got to meet Bernadette and Sean for a chat which was nice 😁 we will definitely be going back and referring all our friends and family plus whoever i talk to in between 😊. Most amazing sunrises and cosy cabins. Place has everything you need to entertain yourself for a weekend away! Absolute gem this place, perfect for couples.

We stayed 2 nights in Tallarook Cabin which was just beautiful. The cabin was very well appointed and so welcoming and ambient. The huge king size bed in the loft was SO comfortable (& very romantic!). Even though this cabin doesn't have the valley views from the deck, it is surrounded by a beautiful water garden which is such a peaceful place and the views across the valley are only a few seconds walk away from the secluded garden. The hot tub in the garden was fantastic & the welcome bottle of bubbly & chocolates on arrival a perfect touch. Bernadette, our host, was extremely welcoming & helpful. The private winery tour organised for us was awesome. Our driver, Kevin, was such a top bloke, very friendly & made sure we had a great day. We LOVED our stay here & would certainly recommend it as a holiday destination for anyone needing some downtime in a beautiful place :)

Perfect place for a romantic getaway, nice and quite location and the cabins are all secluded away from one another and are very private, the view from the cabin is incredible and even better from the spa on the deck overlooking the beautiful valley below, the absolute highlight was the 3 beautiful dogs that came to visit for pats and to ask us to throw the ball for them! Bernadette was great to deal with for the booking and was very accommodating.

Cabin in the clouds was the most amazing location for our wedding. We had a small, intimate ceremony in the most stunning location. Bernadette and Sean thought of everything in their wedding package. We were totally relaxed in the organising process as they really did everything for us and every detail was perfect. We would happily come back again and again. Thankyou so much for our stay and the time you took to make it absolutely perfect.

What a beautiful place on Earth. It was everything Joel and I needed to relax, get away, recharge and Celebrate. I've had the perfect weekend away. I'm in heaven with this place. Rebooked for next year. Would highly recommend to Family and Friends. Michelle and Joel xx

My partner and I spent two nights at the Jabiru Cabin. Being parents, finding time to spend together as well as relax can be difficult but after this trip we returned relaxed and rejuvenated. Although raining for a large portion of our trip that didn’t stop us from enjoying our time. We were able to enjoy the nature, the scenery, the wildlife and much more. The breakfast hamper also was terrific.

Another thing was the service provided by both Bernedette and Emma. By far, the team have the best customer service focus I’ve encountered in all the trips I’ve done to numerous destination. There genuine efforts, care and communication were terrific.

This was a special birthday gift from our daughter- 3 nights in Tallarook cabin with a Romance Package (champagne and cheese platter on arrival, rose Petals on the bed, chocolates and a one hour massage each in the privacy of our cabin) and a breakfast hamper that had to be seen to be believed. It was just perfect, cozy, wood fire, jacuzzi, pricacy, and native birds and wildlife - everything we needed was there. And then lockdown! Sean and Bernadette were amazing! We managed to extend our stay and isolate in the cabin (what a wonderful place to isolate!) and our hosts ensured we had what we needed. Thank you to our beautiful daughter for such a wonderful gift and a very special thank you to our hosts for an amazing stay in a wonderful cabin in the clouds. We’ve been here before and we’ll be back. The best place to relax and rejuvenate!

Had an amazing time couldnt have asked for anything better, the view was gorgeous the house was perfect. We got to experience so much wild life from
kangaroos and possums to kookaburra and a lace monitor. We opted for the massage and I would highly recommend she was so polite and nice and even taught me some technics ,can't wait to do it all again

What an amazing place. We have stayed here many times in different cabins and we never get tired of the incredible view and relaxed atmosphere from each one. This time we stayed in Kirawa. This cabin is very private with this amazing view. The bed was very comfortable we had a great nights sleep after a relaxing spa under the stars. If you want to get away for a couple of nights whether it's a romantic weekend or just to escape the rat race this is the perfect location.

The best holiday spot, specially during covid times. You’re amidst nature and wildlife and no humans. We loved our stay at the Billy lodge. We are 100% going back. Bernadetta and team are amazing and will make sure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. Cleanliness was top notch.
