B & B IN THE PROMISED LAND

My wife and I, and our Cavoodle Buffy, stayed with Susie and Al at their fantastic property on our way from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast and had a perfect stay. The property sits on beautiful acreage and there's not a peep to be heard for miles around! Our dog Buffy loved running all around the property (which is entirely fenced in) so much so that we had to drag her away the following morning.

Susie and Al were the perfect hosts; extremely friendly and welcoming whilst giving us all the space we needed.

If you are doing the Sydney to Brisbane drive then I can't recommend this place enough, it will be a welcome sight after the first leg of driving!

Admittedly I was in two minds about leaving a review. I kind of wanted to keep this place a secret HOWEVER I also wanted to tell the world about Susie and Al's property and its many wonders. For instance, this little paradise is completely dog friendly, fully fenced and is perfectly situated to pup friendly natural swimming holes and picturesque walking loop. Furthermore, due to this acreage location a mere 10 minutes from town, it has THE most perfectly clear star filled night sky and the combination of nature, lack of artificial light and super comfortable bed lead to the best nights sleep I've had in quite some time. Upon waking the next day, I feasted on Susie's home made sourdough in the fresh morning light whilst watching kookaburras searching for food. I would a thousand percent recommend the B&B in the promised land for your next adventure - just please don't book it when I also want to go!!!

Absolutely amazing couple, very hospitable and bake a mean sourdough.
Be sure to swim to swim in any of the little rivers nearby, and take a stroll on the property :)

Great location with beautiful scenery. Place was clean and neat. Selection of breakfast was lovely. Highly recommended for a quiet little escape.
