Kandos Hotel

What a "hidden gem" for lunch. We stopped here for lunch and don't judge a book by it's cover...as we were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a pub! The meals were fantastic! Portions were huge, service very friendly and meals were delicious!! I had the lunch special "Ham and Pineapple Parmy" $25.00 and my hubby went for the Lamb Cutlets for $38.00 (received 3 x good sized cutlets). Both meals were fabulous and the best seasoned chips we have had in a long time!! Kitchen looked super clean! Patrons and Staff were very friendly. Definitely worth stop!! We will be back!!

Spent a night at the Kandos Hotel passing through to Mudgee.
Very friendly staff and locals.
Hotel room (upstairs from bar) was large, spotless and bed was very comfortable. Great value room.
Food from the Bistro was excellent with good sized proportions.
And yes, even the Bistro cook was friendly.
Great little country town with very welcoming people.
We will be back.

A great pub. Came for Three Tails Brown-Eyed Girl ale, stayed for the food. Thought we'd nailed it with the hot wings, followed by the salmon with miso and charred lemon and the veggie burger. Then we saw the ribs come out. Oh well...just have to come back and have that. Highly recommend.

Dropped in for lunch after visiting the Kandos Museum, the food was so good, presented beautifully, huge portions, service was fast and friendly, will definitely be going back!

Stayed here in pub room with ensuite for two nights on a motorcycle trip from Queensland to Tasmania with my wife. Best bed, pub food and even local craft beer on the NSW leg. It doesn’t look much from the outside but was really welcoming. Short ride to Rylstone for good breakfast and then on to Ferntree Gully walk.

Stopped for lunch, friendly service, great pizza, and cold drinks.

Great place and you have to meet Tim the local.

My husband stayed here for a couple nights at the motel, he had a nice room, it was clean, comfy, with a good shower. The Pub was just across the road for meals.

I was having an emergency medical situation and needed to contact my doctor. I couldn't use my own phone because I didn't have any reception. I was at my wit's end and really upset about everything that was happening. The man at the bar was so kind, and let me use the hotel's landline. I'm so grateful for that, as I was able to contact the people I needed to and resolve the situation. He saved me from a lot of pain and stress, and I can't thank him enough.
While I didn't get time to have a proper meal here, we did order a bowl of chips, which were really good!

Nice clean and tidy, spacious, easy entry for wheelchair. Very friendly staff. Great pub adjacent with nice food from bistro. Easy 5 mini walk to IGA for some provisions. S Have stayed here a few times when visiting Kandos and Rylestone. Would highly recommend. 😃

Just had a roast pork lunch here - the meat was fabulously cooked and carved (very thin), and served to the table with a smile. Fantastic value at only $10. The bar service and conversation was also great.
Definitely recommended.

Was a great experience. The rooms are very nice having been redone recently and the included breakfast was a thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend as a good alternative to Mudgee venues being only 40 minutes away.

I stayed in the motel very spacious clean room with a large single and a queen size, good shower, basin outside the bathroom which was handy altogether very pleasant experience lots of bench space table and chairs

I have stayed here a few times and can't fault it. Lovely owners, friendly staff. Rooms always clean and the food is great and reasonably priced. Highly recommend it if your just passing through or staying a while.

By far the best hotel accommodation I've ever stayed in. Our room had it's own bathroom, TV, and tea/coffee making. The bed was super comfy and the room and bathroom were very clean. Great value for money. I will definitely stay again.

Large clean rooms that have been renovated not too long ago. Great food and the beer is cold. Fantastic country hospitality. Highly recommend.

Warm comfy room, fitted our family of 4 with a roll out bed. Perfect for a weekend riding bikes at Louee. Friendly staff at the pub for a meal and a yarn.

Spotlessly clean room, wonderful hosts great meals & icy cold beer.... what more can you ask for. Will definitely be back highly recommend.
