This camp spot.....and we've been to many.....has it all. Eldee Camp Grounds is run meticulously by Mick and his Sister Tracey.
All of their time is concentrated effort on presenting the visitors with comfort and pleasure and a kind and welcoming
Mannerism to the traveller.
Spotless Ammenities and fire/cooking pots to use in at the Campers chosen spot
Peaceful and Serene ambience for all and pets to enjoy.

Very nice camp spot!! The staffs were super friendly and there were lots of great facilities. I highly recommend giving it a try! I'm definitely planning on going back when I'm in Tassie next time. Wonderful experience!!

One of the best camp spots I have ever been (and I have been at a few). No designated sites, very spacious, clean kitchen, toilets and showers ($1). Fire pits everywhere. You can jump into the lake if you need to. Lots of nature, birds, frogs etc. Owner is very welcoming. $15/night/person. Stayed longer than I planned. Highly recommend!

Paid camp spot $15 per person. Endless space (i dont think it could get close to full) paid showers, flush toilets. Excellent inside camp kitchen with oven, stove top and a cupboard filled with utensils (pots pans plates cutlery ect) nice table, comfy chairs and tv. Communal fridge like a hostel. Fire place to keep warm. Outside BBQ area with seats and a fire. Playground for kids. Fires allowed and wood for sale. Small lake to swim or put a small paddle boat in or fish. Really friendly owners/staff. Laundry machines $5 washes, $6 for dryer or clothes line outside. Close to Hobart or the airport.

This camp is only about 6km from our house. We went there as our daughter and partner were testing out a new van. I was pleasantly surprised. Very clean modern amenities. Great camp kitchen. Very large sites with fire pits. Owner very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Beautiful spot near a d good size dam and you can swim in it. Clean amenities, has a kitchen with shared plates and fry pans. Has a shared big fridge. Hosts very friendly. We will be back. Thank you for the great experience 😁

Loved this camp spot! The owners are very friendly, clean facilities and they light a campfire in the evening to keep warm. There was lots of space so you don't have to set up the tent close to others.

We stayed at this lovely campground during our Tasmania roadtrip and loved our stay. Plenty of space to set up, cosy camp kitchen with fireplace and warm showers. We were met with a warm welcome on arrival and 10/10 would recommend this camp to a friend 🏕🫶🏼

1st time camping here and we love it and definitely recommend coming to stay. Beautiful spot not far from shops if you forget anything. Mick and Lou are lovely, inviting and helpful as well. The kids loved swimming in the lake and tried a spot of fishing with no luck. Showers, toilets and camp kitchen are all fresh and clean.

Stopped for an overnighter and got a spot right by the pond even though I got there after 5pm. Lovely. Friendly staff too.

Really nice spot. Site has beautiful flushing toilets and bathroom (showers 1$ for 2 minutes). Nice big dam with fish. Fire wood supplied for a small cost 7.50$, or use the camp kitchen fire place with wood provided. Everything is catered for, great camp spot lovely care taker!

we were stunned by the neatness and hospitality from owners at this place, only $15 per person a night provided us with some of the cleanest camp bathroom i’ve seen and a massive area to camp in. although we didn’t use it the camp kitchen looked fully kitted out including a tv

Very easy going camp owners with a true heart.
Mic and Lou made sure I had settled in and was comfortable when I arrived.
The rate is very reasonable at $10/night/pax.... kids are cheaper.
Facilities are above average and clean.
Toilets are clean and smell nice.
Showers are $1/2min... Best to save 1 coin to rinse if caught out...
At night you can hear frogs in the pond and birds in the morning.
Very family friendly site.
Everyone who comes here seem civilised and seem respectful of other peoples space.
Carlton Beach (only 5 minute drive away) is a fantastic surf beach and has loads of old classic charm.
Carlton River is a delight to kayak and soak up the views. The current can be strong depending on the tides so take note if you plan to paddle far.
Bring your own drinking water, otherwise be prepared to boil the tank water.
There is a lot of sand in the grass due to being near the coast...I found that the sand is easy to drag into your tent if you don't wipe your feet.
There are plenty of shade trees and picnic tables to share.
There are also fire pots throughout the campsite and firewood can be purchased from the camp office if needed.
I love the kitchen, the river (not too faraway), the beach (not too faraway) and the people.
Excellent campsite and well worth the stay.

Fantastic camp ground! We had so much fun playing in the dam, borrowed kayaks. So much space to camp. The owners are lovely! Bikes for kids to use. Short drive to several beaches! Firepots available.

Eldee Camp Spot would have to be the best Camp ground, who cater for people with tents through to camper vans, Mick and Tracie are great hosts and always hard at it to make everyone's stay the best it can be.
40 minutes drive South East of Hobart, by car, close to beaches and shops. Definitely worth a visit as many happy campers return because it's such a beautiful place. I'm highly recommending to come check it out if your looking for a camp ground near Hobart .

Great Camp spot! Very helpful owners. Very clean and good amenities. Pay for showers but they were boiling hot exactly what we needed on a cold morning. You can purchase firewood as they have firepits for you. Camp kitchen was really good! Definitely a great spot to stay.

Mick is friendly. We have a fantastic experience in Eldee Camp Spot.
Toilet , shower room and kitchen are clean and comfortable.
I would highly recommend this place.
