This is a great spot for a picnic or to explore the footbridge and connecting island and beach. The public toilets were cleaner than many paid campsites I have stayed at and most of the parkland is dog friendly. Great work town of Stuart’s Point!

It’s all very new and the pontoon and wooden ramp into the water are still under construction as at August 2020. But the playground, bbqs and toilets are all finished and it’s it’s a fabulous new day use area. There is a small stage which will be great if they put on live entertainment in summer. The new car park is well organised and it looks like it should all be completed by summer.

The old bridge had character that the new bridge just doesn't. Still, a lovely, clean bridge which does the job. Low chance for splinters when barefoot

A very cute township with a tavern, cafe, small supermarket and a lovely bridge over the river which leads to the beach.

Quiet town.
Park quiet, well maintained.
Lots of trees, be mindful booking.
Great spot on river with footbridge to beach and great for fishing.
The amenities close to the entrance are not dirty but only 2 showers and toilets the floor was always wet. Yuck
There are a couple of shops, small supermarket bowls club.
Great spot for kayaking, fishing and chilling
