Discovery Parks - Devonport

Stayed 26th-28th March 2024. Great location if you’re catching the spirit of Tasmania, or if you’re just wanting to holiday around Devonport and surrounds. Great drive through sites. All other sites fantastic as well and are of a good size. Very clean amenities. Park itself is very neat and tidy. Lovely outlook over the ocean. Good camp kitchen. And the staff are lovely and welcoming. Would stay again. I found it very reasonably priced for an ensuite drive through site. Drive into Devonport or there is a small supermarket not far.

We stayed at Devonport Discovery Park with our motor home. We found the staff excellent and helpful. The park grounds are neat and clean. Also the amenities block and laundry again neat and spotlessly clean. Would stay there again and would recommend park to everyone. Best park we have stayed in.

Best place to stay if you're travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania. About a 4 minute drive to the terminal. Nice and clean, accommodating hosts. Easy parking, clean facilities.

This holiday park is literally 6mins from the Spirit of Tasmania Port. 3 streets away. We got in after 9.30pm and our information package was waiting for us in a locked box. We had a drive through site which was very level and situated parallel to the ensuite.
The ensuite was clean and of a good size with excellent water pressure in the shower.
We are staying there on our return trip and am looking forward to it.

This has been the best pet friendly cabin we have ever stayed at. Having a closed in grassed area for Cindy to be off her lead was perfect.
The cabin was clean, comfortable .

Loved this park. Open spaces, great cabins, great view, right on walking track.
Also handy to Spirit.

We stayed here for one week with an ensuite site, one night we stayed at Penguin caravan park and it is a disgrace so we came back to Discovery parks, what a great park and so well maintained with friendly staff.
And so close to the Spirit of Tasmania port.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were so polite, they had some fantastic activities for kids, lending out play equipment and colouring in books/pencils etc. They also had a playground and a jumping pillow. The accomodation was very clean, spacious and cozy. Not to mention, quite affordable. We really enjoyed our time here and will be returning 😊

We stayed in the pet friendly cabin. I was pleasently surprised that the cabin was fenced off for my dog to have a yard. The park is right on the water and has a lovely path alongside it. The staff were so accommodating and we ended up staying an extra night. Our daughter loved the park and jumping pillow, which gave us some timeout too.

This is a really nice facility, the cabins are very cosy and the peacefulness and proximity with the sea makes this place so enjoyable.
The bed was really comfortable and the way the cabins were designed and maintained was sensational.
The team members are really friendly and helpful. I had lost my coat that they retrieved and they were extremely benevolent to walk me through the process of getting it sent back to me by post. I am extremely grateful that they did ship it and that they were constantly responsive and benevolent all along. I highly recommend this accommodation and send all my appreciation to the staff members for their incredible work!

Great place for people to come to straight from spirit at late night set and stay for 1 night or extended times , 4,5 wks what ever take your fancy. All service are brand new look neat tidy showers block has the hottest shower I seen and well exhausted for steam every shower and toilet is fan vented seperateley. Sites are well situated from the river winds to the north West.

Perfect little overnight stay after coming in on the SOT! The cabins are really cosy and homely, super clean, beds are so comfortable, and the shower pressure and hot water are amazing! The lady I've spoken with was so helpful 🙂

Great location if you're coming or going on the Spirit of Tasmania. Parks well organised for night arrivals and communication before your arrival is exceptional. They are doing a great job!

Caravan power and water, quite expensive but I must say the amenities are spotless and handy for the Spirit of Tasmania.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were all really friendly, the cabin was really clean and in a great area. I loved the ocean view from the kitchen window. The playground & jumping pillow were awesome for our 2.5y/o. Walking down to the beach was quick & easy. The other guests were all happy & friendly too :)

We were supposed to stay for 2 days but ended up staying for 6 nights. Fantastic view of the water and the boats coming in. Very clean well cared for cabin. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. We will stay again when we go back to Tassie.

We stayed in caravan next to Ensuite. So nice & new it looks. New playground right next to us & beach on other side of that. We could hear waves. Walked to dining room which had so many electrical items for cooking. We watched The Voice on TV.
Just booked 4 nights again before we go on barge.

We had a great stay at this picturesque location. Complete with heaters, spacious kitchens, comfortable bed and greatly spaced cabins to give a sense of privacy, this was perhaps one of the most magical locations we have ever stayed. Staff was also friendly and always happy to assist.

Very clean and spacious. We checked in late and they made sure the heater was on for us wich was very considerate as we had young children. The cabin was very child proof and safe for our toddler. We love staying here.
