Very nice place, suits for all ages. There got 4 walks, each walk has its own unique scenery, and can see different animals. And the walk time is also very suitable, around 20 to 40 minutes. It’s a place that deserves to come again and again.
Just one thing need to mention, please don’t feed the animals, also please take all the rubbish away when leaving.

Such a little gem! Stopped here almost by chance, but I’m very glad we did as it has been one of the highlights of our trip to Australia.

There are many different tracks starting from the parking lot, each of about 30 min / 1hr. I did most of them over the course of one afternoon. They were all pretty easy. I liked the volcano one the most.

We went in the late afternoon and saw *plenty* of wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, and emus.

Very highly recommended!

There are 4 tracks of varying grades, including a couple of steep trails that might be challenging for older folks and younglings. Wildlife is a common sight in this area. We spotted koalas, wallabies, emus and native birds. There are ample grounds, including tables, around the car parks for picnics too. The public loo is fairly clean but tap water was not available when I visited.

Few trails to try on. Unfortunately, it was too hot on the day we went. No wait time. Worthwhile visiting Tower Hill to look out as it gives a nice panoramic view.

Finding the park was tricky! It's not well signposted, and the entry looks more like a lookout. We parked earlier than the visitors centre and walked 1.8km around crater lake. It was an easy walk, and we were treated to seeing a koala only 1m off the ground in a Blackwood tree. He slowly made his way a little further up the tree and positioned himself for photography! There were many water birds on the lake, including black swans. The visitor's centre appears to be a work in progress, but there are information boards, bbqs, picnic tables, parking, and area for kids to run about. There was a nice collection of koalas in trees, too. We also saw emus, a grey? kangaroo, a variety of birds, and many lizards. The geology of the area could use more signage/ explanation, and the caldera would make for wonderful shots in the late afternoon sun!

Beautiful, spectacular, restored native park and lake inside the dominant stratified walls of this 1.5 km wide volcanic crater. Hungry koalas, emus and kangaroos seem to enjoy the respectful visitors. Interpretative guides and the Robyn Boyd designed visitor centre ( being revamped), trails and barbecues complement this experience of our country.

I wasn't aware of this until recently. Enter via main Highway where there is parking for trucks. It is a one-way entrance. In the middle, you will get to see Emus Koalas and in evening Kangaroos.

Love it! You can spot koalas on trees, emeus are free in the park and you can see various animals in this wildlife such as reptile, echnides, birds...
It is very pleasant to walk on the suggested paths. Ideal to go with family, friends or children :)

Five star wildlife reserve, saw 10+ Koalas and many other animals. If you have kids, certainly will enjoy playing the game of searching Koalas with them.

Great place to spot Australia's wildlife.

Good to see them roam around the reserve.

We spent about 4 hours there and were very delighted to see the koala, emu, some beetles, bees, a snake, a skink, a road kill carcass of a wallaby, and seeing the elusive echidna was a bonus.

Lots of different trails for low to medium gradient walks. 8km lake edge trail is a nice stretch, relatively flat until the final km. Take the summit for a high gradient, although this trail is only a 30min up and reverse. Apart from large rabbit population wildlife is scattered around... Mobs of roos, koalas up trees, emus across paths, wallabies and blue-tongue lizards (if you're lucky). Keep an eye on the ground as snakes can be mistaken for sticks.

Excellent little spot to come and look at some animals in their natural habitat. Great spot to visit for free with plenty of walks to get you around. Whilst dropping in the information centre was under refurbishment

Extinct volcanos set on an island complex surrounded by the major crater lake. Restoration work over the past 6 years has transformed this into a wonderful reserve. Great walking trails accessible for most and amazing bird and animal life. Saw quite a few koalas and emus

This reserve is located on an island in the middle of a lake which itself is within the crater of the extinct Tower Hill volcano, just off the Princes Highway west of Warrnambool. Wildlife includes kangaroos and emus. The island also contains several smaller volcanic craters. The rim of the big crater has a number of lookouts providing views of the crater, lake and island.

Multiple routes available with different levels of intensity and views. Took the Lava route which had a lovely view with multiple benches available for you to rest at in-between. Views are amazing, we saw koalas hanging on trees and emus just walking around!

Fabulous place to view wildlife, even in rough and wild weather we saw lots of Koala and Emu along with rabbits running everywhere. Possible Dingo sitting but maybe a fox.
