Groper's Fish & Chips

We checked out this fish and chip shop to see what was the food like. The young lady that served us greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, with very good customer service. We ordered the fish and chips for two. It was good tucker with lots of chips. So much so, that we couldn't eat all of the chips. Highly recommend when passing through Busselton. The shop only opens late afternoon to early evening.

Fresh, crispy and delicious seafood.
We ordered the Fisherman for 2 and the portion was massive - there was food enough for at least 4 people.
The coating on the fish was just the right amount and the batter was light and fluffy.
I would really recommend this take away shop👌

Incredible fish and chips - the batter was delicious and fish and prawns were super fresh and light. Chips were quite good too. Well priced and with proper chicken salt (not the weird tasting orange stuff!). Well worth a visit.

Best fish and chips in Busselton. The serving size and quality are second to none. It is located in a small shopping complex so the atmosphere is comfortable. The staff are very polite and accomating to special requests.

Very busy on a Saturday night, our wait time was 45 mins but it was definitely worth the wait! Fish was crispy yet wasn't dry and it was a very generous serve. I'm posting this review as a reminder to myself to come back next time...

We grabbed a quick takeaway to go to the beach. It was an awesome cheap eats, and the food was really good, especially for the price! Would definitely go back.

Absolutely excellent fish and chips, cooked perfectly. Friendly, respectful and considerate staff. Very enjoyable experience!

Got dinner here for the family, very generous portions especially with the chips, no one went to bed hungry. The squid was a stand out super tender and melt in your mouth. The service was really good, they were super busy and told us it would be a 20min wait and they were bang on time wise. Worth it.

Good fish and chips. The kids' meal is great value

As a long time customer of Gropers I have yet to be disappointed by their products. Fresh, well cooked and good servings. Service can be slow on Friday. Owner moved to a larger shop and has increased output but customers have also increased! I ring ahead and allow about 40 mins before attending the shop.

Service was 12 out of 10! Young bloke on the counter was exceptional with outstanding customer service. Food was good & value for money was on point.

Only just started coming here for chips and all the other stuff and have never had badly cooked anything. Generous servings are what keep us coming back and spreading the word.

The only issue we have had is that sometimes the snapper we order must escape the cooks' hands, and cheaper shark or hake must jump into the fryer instead.
