MILLICENT MOTEL

Very clean and comfortable room. Free on site car parking available. The room has all facilities you need like fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery. Rooms are very spacious too. Old but very well maintained place.

Bathroom a little worn, but the room was clean and quiet ,the bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Very underrated motel and a great alternative to Mt Gambier if you're passing through.

Don't judge this book by its cover! Once we got past the slightly tired older exterior, we found a basic room that was super neat and clean with a very comfortable bed. Owners are very friendly and we found the motel to be quite peaceful and quiet.Will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic service even after hours trying to get a room. Family room was amazing. 1 of the best ones I've stayed in lately. Will definitely be coming back to stay again. Was very spacious and comfortable felt like a home.

10 stars out of 5!! Best kept secret!! Stayed twice June 23. Spacious and so very very comfortable and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Separate bedroom with ensuite, lounge/dining room plus well equipped separate kitchenette. Very comfy beds and recliner chairs. Electric blanket, air con plus extra heater if required, tv and free wifi. Free undercover BBQ and big grassy area. Bargain value. Would happily go again.

Stayed here for 2 weeks while working in Millicent and is a very clean and very comfortable motel. Gary and Melinda are the nicest people, going out of their way to make this motel a home away from home. It is a great location, close to town centre and very quiet. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere nice to stay while visiting Millicent.

Compact, yet cosy and well thought trough suite. It has a separate bedroom, a lounge (with an additional bed), a kitchen and a WC. Heating/cooling: reverse cycle A/C, additional heater in the lounge (see the photo) and an oil heater - if a guest is still cold. 3 mirrors are at the right places, and also whatever is the usual equipment for motels - all there and in a good condition. Cleanness is at the perfect level, e.g. the carpet was the cleanest we ever had in motels.

Stayed for 4 nights. Room was clean & comfortable & all we could ask for. Shower was THE best, felt like having a massage. No complaints with the continental breakfast, great range of cereals & toast. Owner offered to make fried eggs each morning. Felt like being part of the family as Gary sat & chatted each morning even George the cat gave us a warm welcome! Every day Gary asked if there was anything else we needed. Changed our towels even though we didnt ask them to. Hotel very well situated to travel to surrounding areas. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a very pleasurable stay.

We stayed with our 8mo rottweiler. Check in was easy and Guy was very helpful. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Our pup loved the grassed area, which was big enough for a game of fetch after a long car ride.

We stayed at the Millicent Motel on one of our golfing trips. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Smart TV and fast wifi. The owner had obviously spent money upgrading the rooms - bathroom / kitchenette and lounge. Great value for money including breakfast - $98. The owner was very welcoming – We received excellent service.

Everything works perfectly. The shower, TV, easy chair, bed, curtains, WiFi and parking are all great. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. Despite its age, it's probably the best budget motel I've ever stayed in

Bed was perfect - not too soft, not too hard!
Best part of our stay is the bed warmer (was already turned on by the owner before we arrived) thoughtful and just lovely.
Continental breakfast was reasonably good with plenty of different cereals, and Moccona coffee!
My partner and I have stayed at many 5 star hotels; however this hotel in the middle of nowhere (I know, I know) exceeds expectations. It’s the little things!

Only stayed one night. Very comfortable bed with electric underlay. Room was cosy, great heating. Cutlery, plates and cups all in room with mini fridge and complimentary tea and coffee. Netflix in room was a lovely surprise. Incredible fried eggs at continental breakfast and friendly staff. All round a lovely place to stay in Millicent. Highly recommend.

Good value for money, clean rooms and the beds was so, so comfortable in room 9! The staff were very friendly. They have a beautiful cat that hangs around near the kitchen too. He was so sweet. Would stay again.

The owners are very down to earth and accommodating. Im a regular customer of this motel and all the rooms I've stayed in are all clean.

If you want to or need to stay in Millicent, this is a great option. Very spacious rooms, well maintained, and friendly people. Very good value. The WiFi blew me away - more than 40 MBits! If only everywhere else was this good. Nothing to criticize at all.

We stayed two nights, and our experience was great. Enjoyed the barbecue for our cooking. Kinds Enjoyed watching TV with free WiFi as well as playing in the grassed area. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic country motel. Service was excellent. 2 minute drive to the main street. Only down side no PowerPoint in the bathroom and only one mirror (family room with 4 women 😁)
