Yambuk Lake Caravan Park

My partner, our dog and I camped at Yambuk for one night. Lovely grass lawn by the lake. Some sites were quite slopped so if in a tent ask for a flat site. Dog friendly. Clean showers and toilets. They also offer laundry machines and a simple kitchen. Short walk to a beautiful beach. A bit rough for a swim but lovely for a walk.

Great little Caravan Park with powered and unpowered sites, no mains water just tanks. Neat and tidy.
Short walk to the lake and a little bit further to the beach. Large camp kitchen. 5 minute showers only.

Nice quiet vibes. Note there's no service, and there isn't drinking water. Could do with more toilets. Beautiful sea (and lake) views

Great location, we arrived late at night, reception was closed so we parked up in a powered spot, and paid in the morning, lady was very nice and helpful, giving us directions to a dump point in Port Fairy.
Good cooking and laundry facilities.

The park has all the amenities which are kept tidy. Note that the showers have a 5 minute timer.

The beach felt very secluded which was nice and it’s a short walk from the campsite!

Pet friendly camp site - we had absolutely no issues!

What a little gem. A simply lovely site owned by the local shire and managed by Alf and Liz. There was a great camp kitchen and new outdoor fire pit that was the focal point for drinks of an evening. Showers and all facilities were impeccable. The views from the campsite were stunning overlooking the salt water lake. A short walk to the beach. Just lovely!

This caravan park is a gem, great location, views, river, lake, walks and ocean beach. Grassed sites, very well maintained, new facilities, place is really looked after.
The caretakers are wonderful, can't do enough for everyone, always busy looking after campers.
Drinking water available, but make sure you're caravan tanks are full, no water available for each site, plenty at facilities for general use.
Don't forget to have a go on the giant slide!

Lovely place, lovely managers (Alf and Liz). The views from the campsite were stunning. Very useful access to a camp kitchen, washer/dryer and barbecue area. Short walk to the beach. Just lovely!

Great place to stay Liz and Alf are so friendly and helpful. Very neat and clean good facilities. It's the little touches that make u feel welcome. Baby change table complete with nappies. Very pleasant stay. Would definately recommend.

TBH not sure I want to let others in on the secret that is Yambuk Lake C'van Park.
Located out of the way, about 13mins drive from Port Fairy, this park is small, relaxed, perfected located near the lake and beach, and super friendly.
Liz & Alf are perfect hosts - always ready to help and have a chat.
internet is hard to come by at the park, so all kids are playing cricket, fishing or riding bikes - it's a joy to behold

Peaceful location with nice views. Located off the main road so minimal traffic noise is heard. Toilet block is clean. Cooked a BBQ using picnic facilities on site and found the bbqs to be in a clean condition. Camping area is good for children as there is a playground.

Camping area also overlooks a lake and is therefore nice at nighttime

A beautiful little spot to camp! Right on the water’s edge, just a short walk to the beach. The amenities are fantastic - complete with a cute book swap - and staff very friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend for a camping getaway.

The location is amazing with both a lake and the beach at your doorstep. Great camping sites both powered and unpowered. All grassed and have fabulous views. Excellent ammenities and spotlessly clean. Welcoming hosts that go out their way to ensure a great stay.

This is a really good place especially if you can get a spot with a view of the river. The managers are really helpful and friendly and the price is very sensible. Showers are hot and the place is clean. There are BBQs and a kitchen but you can't fill your van with a tank of fresh water.

Liz and Alf are such lovely caretakers. The caravan park is nestled right on the banks of the Lake and just a stones throw away from the beach. A hidden Gem with so much to do in a relaxing environment.

The best place we have stayed so far on our trip better Melbourne and Adelaide. Very clean and well maintained park facilities. Very friendly and helpful park caretakers. Campsite had beautiful view of the lake and the beach is a two minute walk away. Fantastic!

Amazing campsite, very nice and clean facilities that were cleaned every day, clean drinking water, showers, bbq, it has everything you need for a nice week or two away camping with friends or family. And with the short 200m walk to the beautiful beach I know we will be going back next year!

A great little caravan park with a small number of sites, most with views of the lake. Good facilities and very friendly hosts. Would definitely stay there again

5 Stars for our friendly Liz, the Park Caretaker who showed us around the facilities. All basic needs such as showers, toilets, laundry (Coins) and shared kitchen(FOC) are available. BBQ Pit is there FOC too. We felt worry when google maps brought us into this small road, and we traveled about 3km in our campervan through the huge plantation to this awesome place. One additional tip, prep your equipment if you love to take photos of Stars!!!

Hands down the best caravan park we have ever stayed at. Owner is friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Facilities were super clean and well maintained. Looking forward to our next trip to Yambuk 😊
