Panmure Campground

Lovely spot! Playground is small but has everything and the bathrooms are stocked! Undercover kitchen area with lots of space👍 Dog friendly :) Lots of people staying overnight in rrt, vans, tents etc.

Excellent campground. Have to be the early bird to get a spot. A lot of campers.
Neat and tidy rest rooms and camp kitchen that get cleaned regular. Fantastic swim area.

Absolutely beautiful place 😍 both the campground and area. They have a great swimming hole with diving board and a tree swing in to the hole. There are also fish that jump around on the evening. It's a great place to explore and especially to cool down when it gets to about 3pm !! The toilet facility is great just as good as a good as a paid camp. There is also history around the campground. One of which is from a local who was amazing named John he has such a beautiful farm around. They have a great camp kitchen as well as detailed information there. Just a short walk away id say about two minutes three minutes there is a general store the lady who works there is very nice. The main attraction for us was the local panmure pub the owners are absolutely wonderful made us heartfelt and welcomed it's such a stunning place. They really have put a lot of effort in to the interior and decoration. There is literally a room for everybody but honestly the owners are what made the experience here. We met so many wonderful locals who really made our stay. We keep coming back. We are from the UK travelling round aus but will definitely be coming back to enjoy it all again. Free camping... Toilet. Electric BBQ. Rain water... Kids Park. All the amenities included. FREE. Next to the river.. Can swimming... Really nice highly recommend

Well the feeds pretty good at the pub and the dogs enjoyed a run over the rocks at the river. Reasonable spot to free camp a few days. Few other caravans and backpacker tents around. Right in busy Warrnambool Highway. Pizza and burgers at the pub pretty dam good!

Oh my god. This free camp is phenomenal! The public toilets are clean and tidy, the playground is great for the kids. There's ample camping spaces (we're 12m long) and the creek is stunning. The swimming hole and diving board are adorable (too cold for us to use though).

The place is right to stay. Clean toilet and beautiful playground for kids. Just one thing french speaking travelers were drinking and playing some music loudly ㅜ ㅜ even they might think everywhere is toilet sharing there back to everybody. We woke up at 2am and searched other spots to stay . in such peaceful village... what poor people they are ...they ruined the village rest area. Dont know they are local or traveler but so rude and should be educated by superman or wonderwoman

near A1, easy to find. it is located at the bending point of a river. the place has bbq facilities, toilets, a playground for kids and a swimming pond. it is free and can park around 20 cars or caravans or tents.

Great spot with flushing toilets, free gas BBQ's, bins and flat ground for my van :) The water hole is sublime in this summer heat.

Great spot to spend the night during the great Ocean road. Clean and tidy toilets, bbq and tables. Quiet and next to a little river. You can charge the phone in the toilets.
