I came to have blood tests at Ashford a while ago and was so happy with the lady I came back again today. Despite not getting the same lady I met Alicia. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I often pass out having bloods. She was wonderful. Thank you Alicia ❤

I visited on Sunday 14th March in the morning at 9am. Lots of fasting bloods to be taken and my clinpath form was on my phone. Which I was told over the phone the night before was ok. But not so. They needed a paper copy and so called the head office to get them sent through. They initially had to write them all up. This all took time and they were very busy. What an excellent service from the phlebotomist who did this for me. She was amazing, calm and organized. Thank you.

One of the only places I could find open on a Sunday. I got there at 8:10am and was the only one there so got straight in. The nurse was kind and took my blood in next to no time. I had no issues whatsover.

Took my 7 month old son here. Reception took ages to attend to us, she was out back on her mobile phone. Had a woman attempt to take blood from my son while a male assisted. My son screamed while I had to try hold him still. They couldn’t get enough blood and then attempted to squeeze it out the wound once the needle was out, while my son was inconsolable! They then told us they may not have got enough blood and may have to come back! Which I then received a phone call weeks later!!! So instead I took my son to women’s and children’s SA pathology. They were amazing, he did not even flinch or cry. So my advice to anyone taking an infant or child to have bloods, please don’t go here!

The worst experience I've had having a blood test. I was left in waiting room after male staff member snatched paperwork from my hand, he called from a room down the hallway saying 'you need to pay' I was unaware he was talking to me at first and was not told to follow him to the room.
I was happy to pay but the way in which he approached the subject was ignorant. His bedside manner was appalling, blunt and rude. I was left feeling very uncomfortable something I had never experienced before. I explained that I did not like needles too much, no response.
The needle was put in my left arm twice and moved around which I know is not process. The man did not have a name badge, middle aged indian did not speak or interact with me beyond name, address, date of birth.
I had assumed the blood taking was over as I squirmed in the chair, It was not!
He then asked for my other arm!
I left bruised with two needle holes, upset and my time wasted
I refused to have the same experience with my right arm.
Having blood taken is not a fun or comfortable experience so to arrive in Clinpath Ashford to be made to feel more uncomfortable due to your staff prior to having the needle inserted was unacceptable.
If a staff member is in training they should have someone with them and should be able to hold a conversation or to communicate clearly with the client.
I will not attend Clinpath Ashford again, I can no believe my experience.

I attended the Ashford clinic to have a fasting blood test around 9ish on Saturday 22/8/2020. The reception from the male staff member was icy cold. He only opened his mouth to ask for my date of birth. I was the only client at the time.

The entire process was uncomfortable and uneasy and there was no communication at all. I don't know what his problem was, but it should be left at home.
I almost bumped into the door when I was leaving, but he had no expression of concern.

I've attended this clinic a few times before and it was much more pleasant with female staff.
What sort of customer service is this?

This is the worst ever Clinpath. Horrible woman with no care for the child patient who needed a blood test. With an arrogant attitude and treated the patient as if it's a burden for her. Is this your very job that you were supposed to be doing? She maybe concerned about her fake lashes and pointy long painted nails but not her actual job
Made the experience horrible for my little seven year old and very less help for the other Asian guy who did the most of the work. Clinpath, please review why these sort of unkind horrible people are placed in such positions where they are expected to be kind, caring and especially good with kids. We were sent to this ashford centre especially because they have a few people which is good for the kids and they did a horrible job!!!

Extremely disappointed and had the worst experience.

1. Male staff on AM shift on 20/01/2022, his practice does not align with "Clinpath Pathology's 'CORE VALUES', To treat each others with respect and honesty". I was here for my bloods, the way he was talking to me was rude, while in front of other clients in a confined space where I could hear him good enough, he was not talking but was yelling at me and said "do you know you have to stay here for 2 hours, you can not go no where" this message should have been delivered polietly, this is unacceptable and I take offence to the way he spoke.

2. There comes another old lady for her Covid test, and he started to crack on her that Covid tests sample taking got seized here since yesterday, whereas poor lady trying to explain him of her appointment was pre booked yesterday itself and no one called her to advise the same, she had to tell him off that to stop shouting at her and talk politely as its not her mistake, she was literally in tears. He kept on going at her to go to other lab where they do drive in Covid tests, lady explained she is not from Adelaide and does not have a car either, other female staff working on the same shift tried to cover him and told the lady that he is loud and not rude, she asked for helpline number to speak to someone which he gave and lately he took Covid specimen from the lady
My argument is why he did not offer any help to the poor lady in first place and started to argue, if this is how Clinpath conducts their business then its a big shame and you guys need to introduce some trainings for your staff on how to be polite and how to deal with Human beings. This review is to make aware our community to be mindful of what you may get in terms of services there as cuctomers.
