The sausage rolls are one of the best I have ever had. Meaty sausage without pasty filler some bakeries use, the pastery is excellent

Chi cong bakery has the most amazing fresh bread, the most amazing service and the best workers.

The cheese and bacon rolls from here are to die for 🤤. Right on opening time fresh out of the oven is worth the experience. But they are amazing any time of day. Delicious fresh bread, friendly staff and plenty of yummies to choose from.

Best bread in Lithgow by a long shot, the wholemeal is delicious. Generous cakes. Pies are big and have beautiful pastry.

Definitely recommend the pizza breads & what they call a 'saviltini'. Avoid the pies though.

Pies and cakes are good but they charge a 70c fee for EFTPOS when spending under $10. Actually illegal and the only business in Lithgow that does this

Worst pie on the planet
I hate writing something bad about a business but this is the worst takeaway I ever bought. Avoid the meat pies here! Even the dog wouldn't touch it and she's by no means a picky eater. How the baker came up with the precise blend of glue, jelly and grey matter and thought "hmmm this would be a good meat pie" is beyond me. Luckily I didn't swallow it or I doubt I'd be typing this review. Wish I'd had my camera with me. I'd like to have photographed the mucous and slime mixture to send to a science mag to see if any of their readers were any better at identifying the substance than I was.Anyway, try one of the other bakeries. On the up side,and the reason I gave the place two stars instead of one is because the dinner rolls were nice. I won't be going back though

My brother and I got a "beef" pie each from here and it was NOT what you'd ever class as a beef pie. Ended up throwing it out after 3 bites.
