Tiranna Reserve

Tiranna Reserve is a fantastic spot for families! The new and clean facilities make it a joy to visit. The kids will have a blast playing next to the water and learning new skills by digging in the sand. The playground is equipped with shade nets, making it a great spot to spend time on warm days. And, the added bonus of being able to watch boats racing makes it an exciting destination. The reserve has a wonderful atmosphere, perfect for a fun-filled day out. 5 stars and a big thumbs up from me! Well done to the council for creating such a wonderful community space. Tiranna Reserve is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a great day out with the family!

A great little park for the kids to enjoy. The small sand beach provides excellent conditions for a day out with the family, as well as launching a kayak and enjoying the water. Well maintained and clean park.

Awesome little spot with lawn and a playground for the kids... ramp to launch the kayaks and a great view of the sunset... designated swimming area too...

Great reserve for families and kids, big playground and seating areas available. Good park to view and possibly feed the fish life. Sometimes if it's a calm day they tend to come in close to the path. There's also a ramp which would be good for launching a kayak.

Small little park in Westlakes. It has restroom close by and no many cars driving by so even thou the playground doesn't have a gate the lace is very safe and quiet.
There is a ramp to get in the water if you want to come with some water toys.

Nice little place to stop on a walk. Also has new kids play area and beach/sand area in front of water.

Great space for a swim and picnic

Excellent spot, went for a swim and a run would also be great for kids.

Very nice part of West Lakes channel.
Sandy beach with kids playing facilities ang good for swimming.
Has public toilets, but no bbq.
Nice to stop and relax sometimes to lockout the fantastic view.

Public toilets, a play ground, large grassed area right in front of the lake, spot for fishing. Truly a great reserve for a beautiful day with the family.

My personal go to place. The water view gives a feeling of stillness. I discovered this place when I was going through a rough patch in my life & i still visit it regularly because it keeps me grounded. Walk, listen to meaningful songs, bring a significant other or group of <4. Feel good vibes for days. Morning for inspiration and beauty, late afternoon/night for intimate & deep conversations. Bring bubble tea with you too 👌

Great reserve. Play equipment is covered by shade sails so covered in summer. Small sandy beach by the water with some"diggers". Public toilets only metres away.

Always a nice day out on the lake.
Safe and easy access. Other public bodies of water need to look at their acess

I paid a visit today to check if i could put my hand made wooden canoe in the water for it's maiden voyage, yeah perfect water is nice and shallow to start with which makes it nice and easy to launch, it's a little bit of paradise and the people who live there are so lucky, i'll be there sunday 6th jan 2019 family day 😆😆😆

Nice little playground for 5 and under, be prepared for them getting into sand and possibly water in the lake 😀
