Having sampled various items from the menu, we consistently enjoyed the exceptional taste of the food. The customer service is great, and the staff is friendly.

we only had a one-time issue with this restaurant by being forgotten to get the menu after sitting for a while, and left the negative review as well, but decided to reconsider it and start visiting this nice place again.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent cuisine and welcoming atmosphere.

You can enjoy a good variety of super delicious and high quality Afghan and Persian food as well as friendly service.
On very busy nights, the service could be a little bit slow but the quality of food never changes. That's why it's still my favourite Afghan restaurant in Adelaide.

Always good food and friendly service at a very reasonable price. We had a rice dish, 3x lamb skewers, a potato curry, yoghurt and cucumber, naan bread, a cardamom tea, a baklava and pistachio icecream. All for $80.

The food and hospitality were amazing! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could! The food tasted like it was made with tender, loving care. Thought we live almost an hour away, we would definitely be coming back here again! 🥰🥰🥰

This is the second time we are here. Love all the food we ordered. So tasty! The lamb shank is so tender, practically slides off the bones. Portion is reasonable, definitely enough to fill our tummy. We celebrated our friend's birthday there. They help to store our cake and provide plates and cutlery for a small price. Friendly and polite service.

I highly recommend this place as one of the best Afghan cuisines in Adelaide showing the beauty of Afghani culture in food and presentation.

We were recommended by friends to visit Rumi Palace as they claimed it is one of the best Afghan restaurants in Adelaide.

From our visit, the entire dining experience was just brilliant! The restaurant has incredible cultural art maintaining the integrity of the culture. The staff welcomed us with a smile and a very warm welcome. The staff continuously checked with us to help and helped with explaining what some of the dishes were. The restaurant had nice traditional music in background during service.

We ordered the Ghabli Uzbeki(lamb shoulder with rice) and the kebab koobideh (skewers) but requested the kebabs be mixed rather than both lamb. The food was cooked and served in a timely manner and the presentation of the dishes was manicured and visually appealing. The colours of the dishes that the food was sevred on were extremely vivid! The food and the plates used provided a beautiful presentation of the culture and traditions.

The flavours were just amazing! The meat on the lamb shoulder was extremely juicy and pulled apart easily. The lamb and chicken kebabs were tender and rich in flavour with balanced amount of spices. The rice in both dishes was perfectly cooked and had beautiful colors, and great taste with raisins. Lastly, the bread was served warm and was extremely fluffy!

Excellent! One of the nicest chicken Biryanis I've had, the spices were well balanced and tasty, not hot(as in 'chilli hot') though which was nice, and the chicken was tender and moist. The Afghan vegetable fried dumplings 'Ashak', were delicious, a nice change from regular dumplings as they had a crispy crust and a good combination of flavours.

Great value, we couldn't eat it all (3 adults) and I got to have the leftovers the next day, so great value with a pot of cardamom black- tea and soft- drink at $98!

Will be back next time I'm in Adelaide.

The food was great with a big portion. Very authentic and flavourful. The staffs were friendly. Good history about Rumi. I do recommend this place for good Afghan cuisine. Also there is a parking behind the restaurant.

I’ve never seen a fried version of mantoo on a menu before - you won’t regret ordering them! Friendly service, cosy atmosphere and great food. We couldn’t get over the size of the kebab plates - absolutely huge! The meat was so tender and tasty - yum!

Such an amazing place!!!! One of my top faves!!!!! The dumplings here are so damn good!!!! Love the decor also the beautiful little lanterns make it so cozy and transport you to another world

Hands down one of my absolute favourite restaurants in Adelaide. The food is so unique and delicious... Really delicious. Prices aren't too bad either. Really friendly staff and interior design of restaurant is beautiful. Food service takes a bit of time unfortunately but I think is totally worth it.

Nice restaurant to visit, went & ordered the entree & mains, fried Dumpling for entree & mixed kebabs for myself & chicken kebab was really nice tasting food, not too spicy, the meat was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was presented impeccably. Overall pretty cheap for the amount of food you are given and the quality of the food.

A fantastic restaurant all round - great staff, fantastic food and nicely decorated. Highly recommend this Afghan restaurant. One of the best in the Adelaide metro area. Two of my favourite dishes (Aash soup and Mantoo dumpllings) were both sensational. We also had their mixed kebabs and salmon dishes and both were equally good.

Absolutely delicious food. We had the set menu and got the chef to choose for us. Every dish was exceptional, especially the eggplant curry and lamb shanks. Incredible value with the drinks being included in the price. Lovely service too, couldn't fault them. That atmosphere is nice but not fussy. Will definitely go back again, thanks!

We enjoyed an outstanding experience as part of a tasting Australia, where we had the Owner chef show us aspects of cooking some of his dishes, made some dumplings (after expert instruction), then brilliant walking/tasting tour of adjacent and nearby businesses, finally a tasty, generous, excellent lunch at Rumi Palace
