Travelling Duck Cafe

Oh wow! Definitely not a place to drive past! Such friendly personal service, very child friendly. There are two beautiful natured dogs who come and greet you. The food is just amazing! It's the kind of food that doesn't just nourish the body, it nourishes the soul! 😍 The pulled pork was delicious and the best sticky date pudding ever (even better than my mum's but don't tell her)! 😲

Very homely Cafe and friendly owner made sure everything was perfect, its now on my do not pass list for everytime I'm going on the mallee highway.
I had a burger with the lot and it was to die for, the flavours in the pattie was spectacular and the ratio was exactly how it should be. The coffee was brewed perfectly and not burned or cold. They also do an amazing hedgehog slice.

What a cute little gem. I've always drove past this cafe wondering if it was open or not, being on a busy road. And sure is! The hosts are super friendly and the food is delicious. Definitely a spot to stop by to enjoy a Cafe, a meal or even get some delicious homemade take away food🤤

Deceiving from the road, you enter this place and it opens up into an amazing ambient setting, with antique furniture and also modern items, some of which are for sale. Best toasted sandwiches I've ever eaten. Britta makes you feel like family. I always stop here now, you feel your body relax and unwind as soon as you step inside. Britta makes all her own jams, pickles, chutneys, spaghetti sauces etc. Just a lovely little place to stop. Definitely 5 stars for this little beauty.

Decided to stop in on the way to a work site. I had the egg and bacon roll with cheese. They made it just the way I like it, toasted roll with BBQ sauce and cooked to perfection.

It was well worth the stop.

The slice was also delicious, especially after a long day of work.

If I'm ever out that way again, I'll be sure to stop in and try some more of their menu.

Worth every bit of 5 stars. The best place we've cone across in our many trips between Vic and SA. Great food and drinks. We got the hamburger with the lot and a bacon and egg roll, both extremely tasty. The coffee and hot chocolate were made really well too. The people who run it are really good value, and it was a great place for our toddler to play and have her lunch. You've got to keep a close eye out for it, as it sneaks up on you - we nearly whizzed right past it. This will definitely become our standard lunch place on our road trips.

Just quickly stopped by for some food expecting to grab a cheap pie or some normal servo stuff but absolutely loved the Travelling Duck!!

The ladies were lovely. The pooch was lovely. The food was amazing. Best burger I’ve had in ages, and I thoroughly reccomend to anyone in the area looking for a bite to eat. Really pretty little outdoor garden area and a cool rustic vibe inside too. Thanks a bunch :)

Great chips ! We had vegetarian wraps, served with burger sauce (delish). Also purchased a jar of burger sauce, and nasturtium and sorrel pesto - fantastic. Eclectic and interesting interior. Lovely people.

This is no simple cafee. As soon as you walk in it's like you just entered you friends house and they are catering for you. Absolutely lovely people and the food is fantastic, it's like you're a kid again and your mum is cooking your favourite meal. Can't recommend the travelling duck enough, I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic little cafe with great atmosphere and food, with excellent prices. Perfect spot to stop with the family between Tailem Bend and Lameroo.

Well worth the stop. Lovely lady to talk to who cooks all the food. A huge variety of home cooked meals in her freezer as well as freshly made. Doing a slow cooker lamb when were here.

Well..... we just had lunch at the travelling duck cafe. The burger was totally delicious as was the coffee. The owners are what make this place amazing. Friendly and funny, great combination. 😁 we will be back.

A great place to find out there, great and friendly service, a great burger and a welcome sight during a long bike ride through the Mallee. They even offered free camping if necessary. Visited April 2021
