Peter has taught both myself and my young son for several years now. He is knowledgeable, patient, engaging and one he’ll of a good drummer. If you are looking for a drum teacher in Adelaide, you won’t find one better than Pete. Two thumbs up.

I have been a student at Adelaide Drum Academy (Peter Gore) for the last 3 years. I came to Peter with solid rudimentary skills and some live gig experience. In that time Peter has taken my drumming to the next level.

Peter has taught me to play many different styles including, Latin, Swing Jazz, Country, Funk, Blues and Rock. He has instructed me in nuanced techniques, such as dynamics, accents, stick control, bass foot pedal technique, soloing and reading of drum sheet music.

Peter is a patient, meticulous teacher under whose guidance I have become an endorsed artist.

I’ve been with Peter since I started playing 8 years ago. In that time I’ve had the opportunity to play in countless competitions and festivals. Highlights include receiving platinum rank award with my school’s senior concert band at the Victorian Schools Music Festival and receiving overall best at Adelaide’s 2021 GIJ (div. 2) with my school’s senior big band.

Peter is an incredible teacher and if you are interested in drumming I cannot think of someone better to learn from.
