Our plan was to go for a walk tonight and find somewhere to eat to satisfy two different taste buds, we walked past Samamy and were greeted and welcomed by the family who own the business.
We asked for recommendations for meals and decided on Beef Massaman and Chicken Satay. We were mind blown with the flavour of the food.
The shop is spotless, and the hospitality priceless. I love the feeling of being at a Thai Grandmother house. Instrumental music was a perfect choice.

A very small (shack like) home-run Thai restaurant, with absolutely amazingly tasty food. Low / medium cost but in my opinion 125% value compared to money spent.
Pls don’t expect a fine dining ambience but trust me when I say that I always stay in Intercontinental but take my dinner here.

Just walk-in for a quick meal and did not expect such a good one. Especially this salad is so good. Other dishes are delicious but this is most recommended.

Good Thai food, good location and best service. Would recommend everyone to give it a try!😚😚

Brand new restaurant appealing to lovers of Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. Good range of menu items makes it difficult to pick a favourite, so here’s a few I’m likely to want to order again: Samamy Star (pork and prawn filling), Pineapple Fried Rice (contains sultanas, which I really liked), and Samamy Jelly (probably could eat quite a few of these).

Tip: check before calling in because they’re not quite open at the time of posting this review.

Found this restaurant in the EatClub app with 15% discount for dine in so had dinner here... The Prawn Cho Chee curry was really good... and the coconut juice was like a dessert because it has coconut meat... very happy with my dinner tonight.

Every dish was delicious, I especially loved the green curry. Great service, too.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing, everything was perfection. I really like the green chicken curry with rice, the spices, taste, everything. The food was delivered very quickly, we only had to wait 10-15 mins. If you live near the city in Adelaide I would definitely recommend this fantastic restaurant!

We loved our dinner at Samamy! We enjoyed a lovely Thai dinner of Chicken Pad see ew, Basil Chicken & Coconut Rice. Our dishes were fresh, spicy and delicious. Staff were very attentive and friendly too! Thank you so much! We look forward to trying other dishes next time.

Very nice place, friendly staff. I love the grilled chicken salad and Samamy stars. They also have a lunch special arrange for $15 suitable for students and offices. The best Thai restaurant I’ve ever tried. Recommended!

The food is divine!!

No travelling to the city and getting food that disappoints! This place makes the most extraordinarily delicious food with the most amazing flavours.

Ate here three years ago and found it again and had it twice this week. Asian Gourmet is an accurate definition!

Try the coconut rice and deep fried ice cream. My daughter loves the tofu wedges and satay chicken sticks.

The Thai green veg curry was soo good and the fella liked the beef basil.

Honestly the food is such a flavour loving sensation. Thank you thank you, we will be back every time we are in Adelaide.

Myself, my wife, my sister in law and her daughter just had the most amazing meal. We are from Sydney and we all agreed this was the best Thai we have eaten in this country. Amazing food, absolutely beautiful people and the pricing very good. Highly recommend eating here.

Saw the vibe of the place and thought it was pretty chill. Awesome relaxed decor with a pink and green theme

Only 1 customer in venue and overall pretty quiet. Staff were standing at counter attentive but not overbearing!

Grabbed a seat and noticed the table is sticky, not due to lack of cleaning but tables painting job isn't the best.

Server was very polite and served us at the table. Ordered a Black Bean Beef and Thai Green Curry.
Green Curry was full of flavour and filling. Wasn't runny and had great consistency.

Black Bean Beef was spiced so well, you could taste all the aspect of the dish complementing each other.
Drinks order were Thirst Quenchers, REMEMBER to mix them! Super refershing

Overall, strongly recommended you try this place, so glad I decided to stop here

Tl;dr Great food, Great drinks awesome vibe and service!

We came here as a German tourist to eat a delicious Tom kha soup and we got it! Very tasty and a good size of portion.
The samamy stars and the red curry were also really good 👍

The staff was attentive and very friendly. Can recommend it!

The food here is amazing and the customer service is top notch. It was my second time visiting this place and I loved every bit of it. Saw some comments about portion size being small but that’s not true, the portion sizes are appropriate. Definitely coming back.
PS- their cocktails selection is awesome !!

Well what can we say we had a great meal here entree we had Samamy spring rolls & coconut prawns was delightful & tasty, mains we had the Thai fried rice, garlic & pepper pork & satay beef again very tasty & enjoyable we give them 5stars, staff are very friendly & a pleasure to eat here.

Quiet little family run business. Food is fantastic. Friendly service. We're here on holidays and this is our 2nd dinner here.
