The place is understaffed. Poor hygiene in food handling. The guy was eating, then went on his phone, then unwrapped the sandwich for toasting by hand without gloves. The food is good though.

A great place to relax and have a great coffee. Room to sit outside on a nice day or ample space inside. If you are a museum member you get a 15% discount.

I got a salmon bagel and hot chocolate, both of which were incredibly yummy with such lovely staff! Definitely will come again :)

Love sitting amongst the whale bones looking out through the generous windows, eating excellent food and drinking brilliant wines. Great place to catch up with friends.

Enjoyed a morning coffee and cake, coffee was and cake was very good. Checked out the lunch menu, decided to return for lunch. We decided on the mushroom soup and smoked salmon, avocado and poached egg on rye, absolutely delicious. We found the service excellent, tables clean and tidy. The menu offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. The prices were very reasonable, will return.

Lovely little cafe on North Tce. I got a classic toastie with the secret sauce and it was so fresh. Will be comming back here again esp since the staff are so nice.

The bagels, the coffee and the service were exceptionally good, especially considering this is "just" a museum cafe.

Although it was busy the staff were very helpful and always smiling. We had some afternoon tea which was very delicious. My Iced Chai disappeared very quickly as it was very refreshing.
