I would recommend Portside to parents looking for a local private school which is afforable, community orientated and where teachers truly care about your child's learning and development. My 3 kids go here and from ELC right through to Senior School, we have been happy with our journey!

A beautiful Christian school in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide. It is a caring learning environment that I have been privileged to be part of this last year. They are true to their core which is being Christ Centred. It truely feels like a caring community.

The most caring school I have worked in. Beautifully situated by the Port River and close to West Lakes, this R-12 college has a vision to equip its students for life. Great staff, great students and a great vision for the future.

Great teaching staff! Honorable mentions to Miss Wheatcroft, Mrs Grigg, Ms Burdett, Mr Mayes (and others) who all helped to make high school somewhat enjoyable. It makes a huge difference when teachers are passionate and genuinely care about their students.

It’s not perfect. It has its problems like any other school, though I can’t speak for current leadership/board as I graduated a few years ago. It’s a Christian school, expect religion to be a big part of the school’s values, but as someone who isn’t religious I found teachers were quite accomodating to different beliefs etc.

You won’t find teachers more committed and attentive to their students than at Portside. It is the combination of this and also having a smaller student body, that provides such a good environment for learning and growth. Having attended from grades 6 through 12, I can confidently say I wouldn’t be the same person I am without many of the teachers I had - shoutout to Miss Wheatcroft, Ms Burdett, Mrs Grigg, Mr Mayes and others!

Being on the autism spectrum, I always felt so helped inside and outside the clsssroom, and I can only assume that their special education program has improved even more since I graduated a few years ago. Mrs Sandaev specifically was such a privilege to have support me throughout school.

Such a wonderful school, full of wonderful staff and families who have formed a beautiful local community.

All the construction going ahead is going to make Portside even better and serve more of the Port Adelaide community.

Everyone here tries their best at helping and supporting students and staff. Everyone greets you with a smile and a hello. :)

I recently went on the twlight tour it was very informative, sealed my decision in wanting to send my son to Portside Christian College. School was alot bigger than I realised and the upgrades over the next few years are going to make the site even better to navigate. All staff and students were lovely, welcoming & helpful in answering all my questions.

I have been a teacher at Portside since 2013.
I have always felt a strong presence of the Lord in this place.
My fellow colleges are dedicated to developing the whole child.
The principal has changed of the years, but the leadership has always remained dedicated to supporting students and staff. The motto of 'equipping students for life' is a cornerstone of the education provided here which includes a foundation centered around Christ.
The school is in the process of upgrading its site and the future looks bright.
I strongly recommend Portside Christian College and encourage all to come and see for yourself. God Bless!

We have been very happy with everything about this school

My son has just graduated Year 12 last night with Portside, as a family we loved the school, Considering it teaches from ELC through to Year 12 it still has a low number of students at the school, the teachers were great, you could contact them anytime as a student or parent, he had a very good homework load, something he didn't have at his previous school. The teachers actually mad themselves available to the students virtually 24/7 to make sure they received all the help they needed. I couldn't fault this school and already have friends that have enrolled their child to start with ELC and will then go through all their schooling years here. This is a school worth looking at for your child's education and still a reasonable price for Private Schooling. I personally believe having rules/guidelines and taking pride in oneself appearance all helps in the long run.

A fantastic College with staff that care and support students throughout their journey from beginning to end. I myself attended the college and have sent my 4 daughters to undertake their studies. The college comes highly recommended!

The Principal understands the problems of parents like me and makes things easier. I rate 5 star. I appreciate everything that staff contribute to the children at school, for their well being.
