We had one of the best meals. Everything was hot and the chips were so crispy.
It's a shame this pub is down the end of the street where a lot of people don't know it's there.

I was Listening to a podcast with the Guru Mr Sexy and he said this was the best place to go for valentines and he wasn't wrong, the food was great and the atmosphere was honestly better than i expected, thank you Mr Sexy and thank you Yackandandah Hotel for a memorable time.

We got recommended by some locals that The Yackandandah Hotel was a great place to have dinner in town. Upon entering we were welcomed by a lovely gentleman behind the bar, who walked us over to a table directly in front of the fire place and walked us through the ordering procedure. We ordered Schnitzel, Chips and Mushroom sauce. And it surpassed our expectations. It wasn’t just a regular “pub” meal. And the mushroom sauce was great, I had to ordered a second batch!

We highly recommend The Yackandandah Hotel for dinner or bar service. You won’t be disappointed!

We enjoyed our stay in the comfortable family room during a recent road trip. Our pub dinner was tasty and great value for money with the large portions. Staff went above and beyond to keep us happy, even posting back to us my daughter’s toy bunny which she left behind in her bed. We will be back!

Stopped by for a drink while driving through town. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and made the best tasting lemon, lime and bitters I've had to date. Would definitly come here again.

Stopped for lunch while sightseeing. Pleasantly surprised. Good was amazing and well priced. Not just normal pub food either. Service was great. Plenty of beer options.

What an experience, my wife & I had an evening meal in the restaurant, the Best Pub meal ever . Chicken spinach & camembert roll with veg. Sensational & the mashed potato you will die for. The Yack burger with chips excellent beef patties & the usual extras & the chips Sensational. A must visit if in the area. Better still take a holiday up there.😉👍👍

We love country pubs,staying on them and this was a beauty. Room and facilities spotless, all recently painted, and we noticed it had a large family room. Price amazing value. Bar and courtyard roomy. We are in the courtyard and authentic aged local steak was best dining- out steak I can recall and pulled pork delicious. Go, stay and drive Yack to My Beauty. We sincerely thank proprietor Peter and chef Reggie.

We went for dinner, the place was pretty busy but we didn't have to wait long for anything. The food was amazing, the service was great all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The locals were friendly too.

Great food in a nostalgic country pub setting, staff are wonderful and friendly and the beer is cold.

I’m Covid times it’s a credit to these pubs who with reduced staff and patrons serve up delicious food. This is no exception here. Great Parma’s to die for and lamb shanks that fell off the bone. Great service. Great space with open fire all managed in a timely fashion .

Had a awesome lunch here. I had the flathead tails and my wife had the chicken parmy. Meals were delicious and the chips were top notch. If you're visiting Yack make sure you drop in for a good feed.

I first went to the Yack pub approx back in 07. I sat at the bar and had a few schooners of Carlton Draught and thought that all the local people I spoke with were all great people. Truly marvellous place filled full of wonderful people. Unfortunately I didn't have a meal but according to all the locals, the kitchen cooks up a pretty decent feed. Definitely a 'must see' pub to visit if you're ever in town. Great pub, nice cold beer, friendly local people.
