This establishment stands as the premier Korean dumpling restaurant in Australia, offering an unparalleled culinary experience. The dumplings boast a delightful chewiness, complemented perfectly when paired with Korean dumplings and a sweet and sour soy sauce, enhancing the overall flavor profile. The dumpling soup, characterized by its lightness and delectable taste, becomes an exquisite treat when accompanied by homemade cucumber pickles. The sauce and pickled provided adds an extra layer of divine satisfaction to the dining experience.

This is a tiny little, bustling place. We were greeted by the lovely staff and lucky enough to be placed right by where the dumplings are rolled and it was just so wonderful to watch, almost relaxing and therapeutic. We got the staff to order and we ended up with steamed pork and fried chicken. We also ordered the udon, whilst the udon wasn’t to my flavour liking I still appreciate that it was delicate and fresh, my friend loved it. The dumplings were so flavoursome and I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu! The pickles that they gave us also were delish, so crispy and tangy.

This is definitely the best Korean restaurant in Adelaide.
If you come to Adelaide, please go there.
Every dish is delicious.
The customer service of the young female clerk was also wonderful. She smiled and polite.

Recommended dishes
・Grilled dumplings
→pork or chicken or Vegetable
・Soup dumplings
→You can choose the contents of gyoza.
・Mixed rice
→If you don't have a spicy sauce, it's not spicy.

I'm not good at spicy foods, but at this shop I can adjust the spiciness myself.

We couldn't eat with two people, so we waited for Bibimbap. Thank you for a good time.

I often wondered why there was always a line at this shop, as it's right by my train station. Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to give it a try. To my amazement, the portions were so generous that they could easily satisfy two people, even though I was dining solo on this occasion! The flavors were absolutely delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend trying their pork dumplings and beef bibimbap. 🥟🍲😋

Best damplings in the city, took only 10 minutes to be prepared. The damplings are made in front of the counter. We had tasty Kimchi damplings. Try home made pickles. But I would recommend the Bowl with beef, this is the traditional Korean dish with spicy sauce and in the menu is explained how to eat it…

Must try if you like Korean dumplings. Ordered dumpling soap and steam kimchi dumpling. Soap was flavored with saseme and dumpling were well balanced.

We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. We looked earlier in the week and saw how busy it was , so we knew it was going to be good. When we arrived we had to queue but the Host was really very welcoming. He discussed the menu with us , gave us some advice , and took our order whilst we were still standing outside. We only waited 5 minutes and then we were seated . We expected , as it was a small restaurant , to be sharing a table but we sat at a table for four just for us. The food was served within a minute and it was delicious. Crispy Pork dumplings , with salad. Lovely atmosphere , family run small busy restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Nice place to eat
The guy who greeted us outside (whilst waiting on the queue) is very kind.

He gave us the menu so we can start choosing whilst waiting. We put our order just before we got our table.

After we got our table, we didn’t wait for too long until the food was served.

Nice food. Authentic korean food taste. Love their pickles too.

Mandoo is the best Korean family restaurant in Adelaide CBD. It's a small place with limited seating, offering different flavors of mandoo and bibimbab. Though the prices may seem slightly high, trust me, the portions are generous – one bibimbab can easily feed two people. Both the meat and side dishes are plentiful. Every mandoo is freshly hand made by the owner, who is always kind and welcoming at the counter. The service is truly 5-star, with quick serving and exceptionally friendly staff. Dining here is a delightful experience, and you'll be sure to enjoy every moment.

Best dumplings that I have had in a while! They are exactly like the ones I had when I visited Seoul.
The sauce and dumplings combination is just perfection.
We also got the bibimbob takeaway which was delicious!

Mandoo at Mandoo always hits the spot! This place is always busy anytime of the day and serves up some of the best mandoos in Adelaide. Service is always lovely and extremely quick. If going in the middle of rush hour expect to be waiting for up to 10-15mins. Prices have gone up a lot since my first visit years ago, but that is expected. The only downside I would say is that the restaurant is a bit cramped.

If you want the best-valued beef bibimbap, try Mandoo! All dishes have large portions and condiments like sauces and pickles are served generously. I like how they prepared eggs differently in the soup, bibimbap and in the fried vegetarian mandoos. Was a great meal!

10 out of 5 👏 service was exceptionalllllllllll!! They were so hospitable and the food was excellent as well 🥹 incredible value and the dining experience was great!

The dumplings are bigger than what I’m used to. You’ll defo be full after one serving 💥

Went at about 7:30pm on Saturday and had to queue for 20-30 mins but they took our order first and by the time we sat down, the food was on the table 🤩🤩 thank you to the Mandoo team!!!!

Dinner at Mandoo on Bank Street in the CBD: this place has been around for a long time, and there's almost always a queue to get in. The mandoos are always delicious here, but I was sad that they don't have hotpot on their menu anymore 😔😔.
.
Fried pork mandoo: super yummy and perfectly fried! I also love that ball of mashed potato 😜😜.
.
Pork mandoo soup: it was a cold night, so we had initially wanted hotpot, but after finding out they don't have it anymore, we decided to have mandoo soup instead. The broth is nice and light, and the mandoo are their usual deliciousness 😊😊.

Great friendly staff. Fantastic little venue. The Dumpling Master is a master for a reason - these are the best hand made Korean dumplings in Adelaide! Accompanied with beautiful fresh in house condiments and sauces, every dish I have tried was amazing - this is the real taste of Korea!

I love the fact that this venue closes after lunch so that all the staff can sit and eat together. This is truly the way to run a business in hospitality and I have so much appreciation and respect for operators like this. Support this wonderful business and the wonderful people working here!

Had fried dumplings here twice and so damn good. The chilli dipping sauce they provide and give you more of if you run out is great. The staff are super friendly. The only negative is that it’s fairly small so hard to get a table 😂 you can get takeaway though
